I think its fair to say you don't have enough info to form an opinion yet. However its certainly also fair to have the opinion this is a bad sign based on stats. Claiming this is a good sign is ridiculous as I have seen some posters claim this is a good swap for yemi.

Can you provide me proof it's a "bad" swap for yemi? They both averaged similar numbers their senior year, Ndiaye was higher rated than yemi coming out of NC...One thing that may seem insignificant, but IMO is huge, is that Ndiaye speaks and understands English very well. Yemi struggled big time with understanding what the staff was teaching, and was evident in his failure to really progress.

What you can take out of all this is that most of the Div. 1 programs in America were not offering this kid for a reason. That this is the 1 kid CCM can attract is an indictment on him as a coach. There is no argument there

Proof for an opinion????

My opinion is based solely on stats and experience at the SEC level.

Watch "Trouble With the Curve" and tell us what you learn about sitting behind a computer staring at stats and box scores to evaluate talent.

I just close my eyes and hear the sound of the swish. It can tell you where the release point is for the basketball

Well considering that's from a rivals writer off of a rivals site, and rivals is a "major recruiting site", wouldn't that fit your description?

You asked for a link, I gave it to you, do with it as you please :hi:

Yea, well I'm pretty sure Rob Lewis' glasses are a little orange tinted, so it makes it a little harder to believe. Like I said, agree to disagree. Not sure if they is another thread on this, but how is Maymon's rehab going?

Ok...like I've said, if it's a swap for yemi I'm good with it, if it's a swap for stokes I will be as critical as anyone.

I understand your angle but I think you are looking at it the wrong way. The staff got lazy IMO and assumed they were done recruiting bigs. That's my biggest complaint here. It doesn't matter who he replaces. The only thing that matters is if he is capable of being a winning player. From my seat he isn't and if the staff was prepare they would have found one that was ready to win.

I like how when you're proven wrong you run away and then come back with another dumb post...so what's it say that Martin can attract top 20 player Robert Hubbs, no arguement there huh?

I take it you're not familiar with Rob Lewis, or the other VQ writers? Very far from orange tinted glasses actually.

Maymons doing great, hes out playing with the guys now.

Quinn discussed it on twitter, no sure if it's in his articles...says tenneessee basketball staff told him he had offers and OVs set up to auburn, LSU and USCjr.

LMAO not one bit, I am showing you how stupid your argument is.

No you just keep changing...you said its an indictment on Martin this is the only guy he can attract...well I asked what's it say that he pulled Hubbs from coach K, what kinda indictment is that?

Earlier you said "Let me clue you in there is a reason nobody has evaluated him or given him a second look"...I've already proven that was false, so you wanna continue to look dumber?

Nope. Only says interests. No other offers reported.

From Chattanoogan.

"He chose Tennessee over Auburn, LSU, South Carolina and TCU."

They don't state whether he had offers from them, but says he chose us over them, which would insinuate that he had offers from them.

Either way, he is signed with us now so I don't guess it matters if he did or didn't.
