Rawane Ndiaye signs his LOI

I did find this.

That's obviously not what I was referring to since nowhere in there are offers mentioned...look believe what you want, Rob Lewis, the staff, Indian hills coach and Ndiaye himself all have said he had those offers and was gonna OV to those schools. Those schools recruiting sites have also mentioned the interest their respective schools had in him, and that dates had been set for him to OV.

Believe what you'd like, doesn't much matter.

Whoa he only has 2 years of eligibility left? That makes it even worse than originally thought, Martin truly doesnt have a clue

The one saving grace of this commitment was that he had 3 years left to play, now it comes out he only has 2. You really have to question Martin now.

You gonna be around next year when we are top 25 and dancing?

Got a feeling we will be glad he has only 2 years.

We'll be an average SEC team in 2014. We'll be thin at big man (depending on the '14 class and Davis' development), but come on guys. Last? We're (hopefully) still going to have Hubbs, and I'm willing to bet Josh continues to improve. I feel like Armani is a mortal lock to be improved by then. Thompson at the point. It's just not as bad as you think. There's going to be leftover talent. Solid talent.

Been here 3 years longer than you so I would guess you will not be here once Martin is fired.

You guess wrong, but ok. Why wait, what do you think we finish next year? As lost as you say CCM is you must think we will finish towards the bottom of the SEC and miss the dance, right?

If Yemi can't cut it and was losing playing time, why are we "OK" with a like for like? At this rate,I just hope this dude helps our APR because he's not doing anything else for us.

There were games last year where we needed yemi, even if it was for nothing more than his 5 fouls...when it became clear he was going to leave we needed to replace him.

I bet you Martin never finishes in the top half of the SEC after Pearl's players are all gone.

Reading comprehension issues? I said lets not wait, what do you think they finish this year bro? If CCM is as lost as you you surely he won't have his team ranked, or make the dance...right?

You don't recruit guys to get 5 fouls for you, unless you want to get fired.

You recruit them with the hope they progress, but if you don't think Yemis big body came in useful last year at times I'm not sure what to tell you.

So useful that he wasn't playing by the end of the year. Martin is recruiting with a lot of "hope" these days.

The reason he wasn't playing was because we were playing a 4 guard lineup...compare his minutes pre 4 guard and post 4 guard lineups.

When it is all said and done I believe that Pops will end up being a good pick up. Just on sheer size alone this guy adds something that our roster has been lacking. I welcome Pops to UT and look forward to seeing what he can bring to the table.

But seriously, does anyone have the skinny on the phonetics of this guy's name?

ra-WAH-nay n-DYA-yay?
ra-WAYN n-DEE-yay?

Is the N silent?

Idfk...

Quinn tweeted it the other day.

Something like RA-WAHN-EE N-JIE

Edit: Found it. @BFQuinn: Also, for the sake of brevity and clarity, Rawane Ndiaye goes by “Pops,” while his name is pronounced Rah-wan-E N-jie

Sort of a catch 22.
We were playing 4 guards because of our depth problems at the post (Yemi).

How in any way does that justify swapping one pathetic dude in thepost for another?

You do not sign JUCO players and hope they can develop, they have to be ready to play.

Would love to know just how many guys his size play at the JUCO level and the fact his stats are so bad does really speak volumes about his ability.

This is just as bad as Jones taking that JUCO volleyball player this year. Makes you woder if they are friends of the family or something.
