Rawane Ndiaye to Officially visit this weekend per TOS

Maybe not, but I'd bet there aren't over 1 in a thousand D1 signees who have worse incoming stats than Ndiaye and Landry.

I would bet serious money that there are no BCS signees that have worse stats.

So yes I act like this would be the worst sign ever and that might be wrong. One could argue another classmate might win that crown!

I'm curious about Yemi, I had heard those rumors and mentioned it yesterday, but said I didn't believer them....now with the latest from Lewis it sounds like there might be something to those rumors. Is he unhappy here, misses home, wants more playing time...seemed like an odd candidate to transfer.

On the flip side, I think he'd be a good pickup for someone who will have a major role for him in 2 years...he can redshirt next year while sitting out and will be a RS junior with 2 years left to play.

According to Quinn, Rawane has received an offer. He's a 6'11" center who averaged limited points and rebounds last season as a JUCO player.

Just making conversation here, but is there any chance that the offer mentioned was to be an invited walk-on?

Another thing that is odd about it to me is this list of the top 100 JuCos. There are lot of bigs still undecided. Hard for me to believe that (a) Tennessee evaluated all of those guys and decided (b) this kid is worth pursuing over any of them.

Obviously they see something, what I don't know, but it's apparently no other D1 school is seeing. If he committs I'll be interested to hear what the coaches say about him and the reasoning.

It's scholarship

Uchebo is undecided if really looking for a big. we recruited him out of HS and ended up with Yemi, his team mate.
Put up some pretty good numbers this season.

Childress GOOD
Tatum GOOD
R. Smith BAD
Tabb BAD
Crews BAD
Chism GOOD
M. Johnson BAD
Williams GOOD
Negedu BAD
Maze GOOD
Hopson GOOD
West BAD
Woolridge BAD
Jurick BAD
Hall BAD
Harris GOOD
Golden GOOD
McRae GOOD
Prince GOOD
Goins GOOD

I see 11 good evaluations and 10 bad evaluations, pretty close to the .500 you speak of...and before this turns into a crews/ramar argument, I count them as bad because, yes they were talented, but part of the evaluation is what kind of person they are, those 2 were failed evaluations in that category.

You aren't going to win any argument comparing MArtin and Pearl and you know it so just stop it.

This is a head-scratcher for sure.

Definitely curious to hear the reasoning...as Calban pointed out, there's a number of JUCOs bigs out there who would appear to be better, I'm curios WHY this guy.

I get adding a big, and I get bringing in a guy with a few years remaining if yemi is indeed transferring...still just not sure WHY the staff picked this guy.

I said this A LONG time ago. I think CCM comes off as super giving and too nice when it comes to OFFERING these kids.

Rawane Ndiaye seems to constantly jump from school to school as if he is LOST. He meets CCM and now CCM is playing a daddy role for him.

That's my only explanation.

You may be on to something. This is just my opinion based on external observations, but it looks like (a) Cuonzo doesn't play the conditional offer game (b) if you get an official visit, you either have or will have an official offer (c) if Cuonzo "connects" with a kid, he'll move heaven and earth to sign them no matter their basketball skill. If he doesn't "connect", he won't recruit them, no matter how good they are.

Definitely doesn't possess the "slow play" ability like Pearl.

I have seen zero film of this kid. I know really nothing about him. However, logic tells me he is a reach. A rivals bball analyst hasn't even heard of him. He averaged like 2 points and 2 boards a game in juco. He played a limited role and he's nearly 7 feet tall. Those things tell me that unless this kid is the ultimate hidden gem, he's probably not SEC caliber. Apparently, he's not juco caliber.

Saw him at Rumorz last night with Darius Thompson, J Rich, McRae, and Golden. Kid is huge, and seemed to be loving Knoxville

I think we're missing the obvious here. He's a sleeper agent. Martin will activate him upon reaching campus and he'll turn into a 17-10 monster.

im a 19 year old freshman at UT, im enjoying my four years of college

On Thompson, he very well may be 18 by this point of his senior year, I was....

Just teasing ya man, once it changed to rumorz I quit going...you don't have many choices being under 21 though.

Both of you are dumb for patronizing the strip. You can go a mile in any direction from there and be in a better place.
