If I am not mistaken, Walker was on campus for his visit this past weekend.

according to the Burmingham news< CPF is suppose to meet with Whitehead this afternoon.
Nice find, here is a quote from that article:

This week will be a busy one for Whitehead. Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino was to visit him Tuesday, Tennessee's Phillip Fulmer is coming in today and Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville will drop by on Thursday.

He says he doesn't have a front-runner.

"Your guess is as good as mine," Whitehead said. "I'm just going to sit down and go through everything and hope I can make the best decision. I could just flip a coin because I don't feel I can go wrong with any of these schools."

Whitehead said his cousins, Alabama players Tim and Simeon Castille, haven't put any pressure on his decision.

I just heard Jimmy Hyams say that he thinks we will get Victor Thomas (DE) from Olive Branch (MS).

That would be great having another player from Mississippi. (Guess you can tell I'm a little biased. LOL) What a coincidence. He is a DE. Maybe he will make us a great one Like Will O and Parys H, two other Mississippi products did.

apparently justin garret has a brother. his name is brandon garret. he is a de/lb. according to a article on scout he has commited to tennessee with his brother.scout

I'm going to make a couple of calls on some guys, not all from info. that's set in stone....but I'm going to make some guesses. On some it's down to two schools and I'm just making a guess based on comments and other things from the kid.

Ramone Johnson- Tennessee........we usually come in second for mid-west guys, i think we're due
Brandon Heath- Tennessee........i think we sway him this weekend
Tim Hawthorne- Tennessee.........just a gut feeling, i think he's been having fun with everyone the whole time
Jeremiha Hunter- Tennessee............some are now saying it's between us and iowa, and i think he has a better relationship with our coaches and had a better visit
Adam Patterson- South Carolina.........we're pushing hard though and have a chance, but i think it'll be a tougher pull than most thought after his visit. it's mostly between us and S. Carolina right now.
Duke Calhoun- Memphis......wants to stay home, likes Coach West and also plans to play basketball, which is not a good idea for him
Kelvin Sheppard- sticks with LSU because of teammate and LSU commit Perry Riley, but really likes UT so.......
Dekoda Watson- Virginia Tech.......could also be Florida State, I think we're in this race but I think he may like some others better
Greg Davis- West Virginia......this is a tough one to call because I've heard nothing on him since his UT visit, he may be a back-up plan right now incase we don't land Heath

These are more from some info I've got that I feel pretty confident in.

Aleric Mullins- Tennessee
Victor Thomas- Tennessee
Stephaun Raines- Tennessee
Deantwan Whitehead- Auburn

I don't know anything much about what Brandon Warren will do. I know he wants to go to FSU, as it stands now, but his mom and most of his family want him at UT. He took his mom and others on the visit to FSU and according to his cousin, his family is now leaving it completely up to Brandon.....which is the way it should be. I think his mom will still express a desire for him to stay at home, and it's important to him that his mom can see him play. I think he needs to have a great visit this weekend. Hopefully he will feel that the best thing for him is to stay at home close to friends and family. I just hope, in the end, that he decides that he WANTS to be a Vol....and not just that it's more convenient.

Don't count on these, because I'm sure I'm going to miss on a few at least. I think you can rely on the last three though, if none of them end up at UT.....I'll be shocked.

I agree with most that I read there. Well I am not sure about Jerimiah Hunter. I feel like that he is a hawkeye but i havent been following him that hard.. I do belive we will either get Mullins or Patterson, but not both. and do you know when Ramone Johnson is suppose to commit?

I felt certain he(Johnson) would have made his decision by now. The kid must really be torn. Hawthorne, who knows?

If it is still scheduled, will Warren go on Houndogs Locker room Show monday and announce he's going to sign F$U? Its been no secret Cut is looking to employee a rare breed at TE. Monday-Weds eve should be interesting...

I think the only way Hunter is a Hawkeye is if he simply feels like he's got a better shot to win there than he does here. I think he liked the depth chart, his visit, and the coaches at UT more than Iowa. Hunter will announce his decision on Saturday. As far as Johnson, I think he may announce sometime around Monday and there's some rumor that Mullins will announce that day also. Another rumor that's making the rounds, and now there's an AJC article to substantiate it as a possibility, is that both Kelvin Sheppard and Perry Riley switch to UT. I've thought all along that they were a package deal, but it seemed that Sheppard was the only one that was looking hard at UT after Riley recently visited. It seemed like Riley was interested, because he would play safety for us, but he seemed to firm up his LSU commit after the visit. I know Sheppard is leaning to UT but I guessed that he would go with whatever Riley decided to do........and I thought that was LSU.......but there are rumors out there.

There was an article about Erik Spiekerman a few months ago in Rocky Top news. He is 6-8, 385 lbs. Obviously he is over weight but has a huge frame to work off of.

Oh well, I am in love with the huge offensive lineman!
Scout

I would have to tend to agree with you. If he had any kind of foot speed he could be a John Henderson/tall defensive tackle.

A project at most, but who knows with a kid with a frame like that.

Fulmer please stop recruiting these fat boys! Take a lesson from last year. Big doesn't always mean better. Unless Ainge and Crompton know how to avoid the blitz, they are going to get killed!

I think its time to move away from the tendency to "supersize" our linemen.
They look great on a stats page, but once they are in the program, all the press you read about them regular season is about high ankle and knee problems that keep 'em in the training room. Those injuries are not accidents. The guys are carrying too much weight, and the lower body can't withstand punishment.

The Broncos have proven that 285 to 305 can be quite an effective lineman.

I think I'm in the minority on this Empire, and you the majority...

Tennessee has never been after Speikerman. I've seen some picture of him, and he doesn't look nearly fat enough to be 385, but he's just not a SEC type player.

I agree.

One of the changes that should have happened at the end of the year IMO was a change in the conditioning program/staff.

This is one of the details that Fulmer hasnt addressed with a enough emphasis in the past.

The broncos were winning super bowls with the best running game in the league and the smallest offensive line.

I believe this is one of the main reasons Auburns program has turned around. They have 4 people on their conditioning staff. They take this aspect very seriously with high emphasis.
