AUGHHHHH!!!!!  Looks like UF is just piling them on.  I realize this is not a done deal, but when am I going to see some articles with guys at this talent elvel saying they are down to UT and one other school with the apparent edge going to the Vols?!?

I know..I'm with you. It's so frustrating. On a positive note, this Fisher guy looks incredible. He would be a top 10 prospect if they included JC's on the espn list. He is rated an 8.1 and looks like he could contribute immediately.

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape yet. So what if someone commits early verbally...? Chris Sims and Cadillac Williams committed to the VOLS before signing day and look what happened there. I wouldn't put too much stock in anything until signing day.

Shoot, Arkansas getting the verbal from Mustaine may not have done them much good either.

These are kids in high school. When I was that age I surely couldn't make up my mind. This is going to take a while and don't think we'll know a whole hell of alot about our class until mid to late January.

We are now well out of the Top 25 recruiting classes. Here is the Rivals link showing us at #34. While you are there take a look at the article on the 5* guys that are looking at Georgia and UF. We are so screwed. I don't see how we are going to finish strong when there is no one left to get. :disappointed:

Its good to know that we don't have ANY quality players on the sidelines to work with this year since we are in need of so many recruits.......GET A GRIP!!!! We will still have better players on the sidelines than 80% of the SEC and now that we got coaches and the right attitude is being installed in those players, so we should get the other 20% out of that. Everyone just needs to calm down......I would rather have the underdog stamp on us as we had that stamp in 98' in a "Rebuilding Year".

Okay. You are telling me that all those guys who just finished 5-6 are going to suddenly have carrer seasons in '06? I'll beleive it when I see it. Plus we have two division rivals that beat us this year and that are having awesome recruiting years. S.Car. is not far behind them. Even if you think that we will get more good guys by signing day and that we have enough talent on the sideline to get by with a down year you have to be concerned about what UF and UGA are doing. :shakehead:

You can't talk common sense with these people. The best thing to do is just step back let them get psyched out about nothing and then throw it back in their face and laugh at them next season. We just signed the #1 class in the country last season. Think some of those players might be talented enough to contribute now that they have a year under their belt. Especially considering the improvements in the coaching staff. You people are laughable. Oh yea, and why not say this one more time...its WAY TOO EARLY. Our class will be very solid, especially if you consider it in conjunction with last years class.

Please stop trying to mess up our anguish. Those of us who stuck with the team throughout this season without resorting to selling our fan loyalty on ebay have earned the right to gripe incessantly until we get another 9 or 10 win season. God Bless America and Merry Christmas.

I pretty much agree.

What you nimrods can't seem to grasp is the simple fact that recruiting doesn't matter one bit, if you can't get that talent to shine on the gridiron.

Good Point. This years graduating class was the no. 1 recruiting class 4 years ago. Fulmer managed to go 5-6 with it. So what difference does it really make.

Allowed to gripe within the Volnation family. Agree. There does come a point though where the horse is dead and we should stop beating it. Having said that, we are not there yet and I am still P.O.'d and the 5-6 season still stings.

It wasn't last year's recruiting class that went 5-6. Most were injured, red shirted or both. Those guys will be up for starting positions this go around.
