Funny how some people now say title of recruiting coordinator is meaningless when just a few months ago we were still being told that Dooley's time as Saban's recruiting coordinator was some sort of all important experience. Jones and his staff are set up with instate stars and out of state legacies that should easily make the 2014 class a consensus top 10 or better. They need to lick their wounds and get on it.

I think it is pretty obvious at this point that the title of recruiting coordinator is overrated.

Basing this on the now-defunct Dooley Era of TN Football. The guy either couldn't, or worse, he refused to recruit for the Vols so his title under Saban was rendered meaningless IMO.

Agree that Butch and company need to get on with 2014 and hopefully sprinkle in a couple of JUCO O linemen for this class.

Next year, there won't be any excuses for reeling in a highly respected class. Plenty of potential legacy recruits and instate talent to start a very solid base. I will be sorely disappointed if they don't land Hurd.
