They're riding with Joe. Not so much to do with Nico as with a decision the coaches have made and the team has supported. Not about believing he is automatically better. No one has said that that I have read anyway. Its about moving on and your 6th years Senior QB making dumb mistakes that maybe a Freshman QB would make but I know we got Joe until the end of the season. Can't wait to see our future.
His two best runs were not designed runs. With 2:10 left in the first half (Lane’s second holding) he was flushed out and took off. He trucked Cooper (the top MLB in the SEC) and took him out of the game. The first play of the 4th quarter was not a designed run either. He flat out trucked an A&M defender near our sideline. He did have 4 or 5 designed draws that were very effective. He doesnt trust his legs either. He had two nice runs in the fourth quarter, that were designed.
So often he could easily pull ball down and get first down, but that would require contact.
I’m honestly ok with them doing that, but Joe needs to reward the coaches’ faith and his team’s confidence with better play and decision making. He let them down yesterday, no sugar coating it. Thankfully, his defense and special teams picked him up.They're riding with Joe. Not so much to do with Nico as with a decision the coaches have made and the team has supported.
Seriously though nothing beats touchdowns and fireworks and hearing Rocky Top.... but I'm not gonna lie... the atmosphere in Neyland on a big third down is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! The noise, the music, the coordination of breaking out Third Down for What... 100k fans on their feet screaming....
Inject that into my veins.
When Tennessee is good... Neyland never disappoints.
Uhhh are they helicoptering their wieners at each other?Yeah, had this one in the hopper…

We all know Joe's story. They're riding with Joe. Not so much to do with Nico as with a decision the coaches have made and the team has supported.
Joe has always been inconsistent in games. He can be much better and needs to be. But it's hard to know what you're going to get from him live. And the receivers need to make some of the hard catches, too. They can't count on getting the PI calls.I’m honestly ok with them doing that, but Joe needs to reward the coaches’ faith and his team’s confidence with better play and decision making. Really? You don't understand why every time we get rolling, a mysterious flag pops out?Refs are inconsistent on PI calls. They missed at least 2 on us.
I dint understand the holding calls either, every time TN was driving, a flag would come out. I felt A&M didn't get called for any holdings. It's becoming the same story every game.
I might add that Joe was way too juiced after that run and immediately forced the throw and pick on the next play. His two best runs were not designed runs. With 2:10 left in the first half (Lane’s second holding) he was flushed out and took off. He trucked Cooper (the top MLB in the SEC) and took him out of the game.
