We blew it not getting Nico significant, meaningful snaps earlier in the season particularly against OOC. We are gonna go into next year with essentially a true freshman in game time experience and we won’t have a frickin’ clue what we have. Woulda been nice to know what we’re working with besides a few snaps of handoff duty. Think his snaps vs UVA we’re just to appease the crowd.

I’m sure “we” will figure it out .
the coaches on the other hand have just seen him every single day in practice for about a year and half by then will probably need your assistance

Ramel can be slightly above average at times.

Thornton is the biggest WR bust known to mankind.

Chas Nimrod looks like a G5 player to me. I don't get why he played the whole game. He is just okay. Webb and Leacock are more talented.


My only hope is that Dont'e somehow pulls his head out of his ass.

AP explained why they will continue rolling with Milton in the post-game pod. Essentially, the team still believes in Joe and continues to win with him, so replacing him would not go well with the players on the team. Apparently, Alabama replacing Milroe caused locker room issues ("when they pulled Milroe, the locker room revolted down at Alabama"), and replacing Milton would likely produce similar results at Tennessee under the current circumstances.

Plus, once you make the change, you can't really go back to Joe.

Im just curious, but say something happens where Milton gets knocked of the game and the next game and Nico comes in and balls out, would we go back with Milton when he comes back in or stick with Nico at that point?

The further we go along, the more we are going to have to morph our offense to include some wrinkles. I think this is an obvious one.

We sub enough on offense this year (still not much, but enough) where you could get him a couple of touches. I’m guessing we’ll see that soon.

I think that weird vibe we're all getting is that we're a good team with an under-performing QB. BAMA and UGA are in the same boat.

Does anyone know how good/bad TAMU's OL was supposed to be? I know their DL is great but I want to know if others did to them what our D did.

Carson Beck has a QBR of around 82. Milton 56.
UGA is hardly in the same boat

They seem to be well represented but it looks like 80/20 at the most.

90/10 would be my assessment.

Low point of hospitality and sportsmanship was the crowd around us booing the other team and booing obviously hurt players. It was embarrassing.

High point was the Pride of the Southland Band playing the Aggies fight song to welcome them. I was very impressed by that and so were all the Aggies.

They did get really tired of Rocky Top.

Premise: Kamal Hadden has improved tremendously in his time at Tennessee to become our best corner and a legit NFL prospect.

Fact: We just shut down two pretty good QBs two weeks in a row with great corner play, married up with exceptional D-Line play.

Fact: Willie Martinez coaches the cornerbacks.

Conclusion: Willie Martinez should be fired!

Fact: We just shut down two pretty good QBs two weeks in a row with great corner play, married up with exceptional D-Line play.

Fact: Willie Martinez coaches the cornerbacks.

Conclusion: Willie Martinez should be fired!

Fact: our DB play improvement coincides exactly with the improvement in the pass rush.

Conclusion: 85% of the improvement in the secondary is because of Pearce and Company

A Heupel team showing it can win with a very different style than last year is quickly becoming my favourite part of this season
