I don’t even understand that question.

I believe everyone wants Milton to do well and be an amazing QB. Then he gets drafted high and it’s good for him and the University.

It doesn’t effect my life in any way. What kind of question is that? Sheesh some crazies on here.

Good lord... some of ya'll have forgotten how frustrating Tee Martin was if we lose just 1 game in '98 he wouldn't even be mentioned around here.

i was at every single home game and several road games that Tee Martin qb’d…. i am far from a Tee fan but this offense doesn’t take a special qb…. Tee would have run it a lot more in todays times and with everyone spread out… He had a pretty deep ball and quicker processing…. i feel that he would be able to complete passes since they wouldn’t require fitting them into tight windows. Joe has been a very big disappointment for me…. i hope he plays better saturday or at least hits a couple of deep ones.

Those busts have happened but not as frequently. We’ve missed a lot of the for various reasons this year.

we don’t trust our passing game enough to have very many busts this year.

Bama is definitely going to be emotionally charged, both the fans and the team, so it is going to be really important for us to come out swinging early and take an early lead to take the crowd out of it and deflate their players. Hopefully we can force a 3 & out their first possession and then us score quickly the next drive

Yeah I'm hoping we connect on a Joe Milton play action haymaker on our opening drive, especially if it's after a stop.

That is of course your prerogative. However, people acting like that song is not iconic and well known all over the country and possibly the world are delusional. Whether or not you like the song is irrelevant. Everybody knows the words whether they like the song or not.

I get it. But like a couple other posters have said, it's just a weird vibe...and certainly not relatable to the majority of recruits and players.

I think Joe and the coaching staff missed a big opportunity not leaning into Joe’s running ability this offseason. Joe proved a couple of weeks back that he has some top end speed, and proved this past week that he can truck people. If they had worked with him to improve his ability to throw on the move, he would be a nightmare for teams to defend.

In the past, Joe has also seemed to have perfromed better after running and trucking someone. It's almost as though it calms his nerves. He throws more accurately and the game slows down for him.

Does anyone have the list of away games we've played in the Heupel era and offensive penalties?

I know the defensive players (maybe Baron) have said that they don't mind the away games because they can communicate better away from roaring Neyland.

I guess 2022 Pitt and 2021 UK were our best true road games with afternoon/night kicks. 2022 LSU our best road performance overall, but we had them in a guillotine by the time the hungover cajuns found their seats.

I recall many of our fans saying they were very nice at A&M too (prob helps when home team gets the W). Pretty cool. The anti-Florida.

Does not comport with the fact that he knocked aTm's starting linebacker out of the game on one play and threw an interception into double coverage on the next.

(not that I'm in the bash Joe crowd...if Heupel thinks he's our best option right now, I trust his judgment)

I have no idea. Some of my preferences would be no more relatable to players/recruits (Metallica, AC/DC, etc.). I also listen to a good bit of rap and hip-hop (relatable to players/recruits), but realize that a sizeable contingent of the crowd would lose their damn minds if that's what we did. So I don't know the answer.

Yeah probably is a combination of Joe having the team/locker room on his side. We saw what the Jeremy Banks issue did to our locker room right before the South Carolina game last year.

The game will come down to which one of these guys converts 3rd and longs to extend a drive or kill the clock eventually.

He was just too jazzed up ready to make a play after that.

Either way, I think we have to call some designed runs early.

They seem to always work. It'll make the offense better and calm Joe's nerves/get him in a rhythm.

I actually think Joe running just gets him in rhythm. Look at UTSA. He started off with that long run and was killing it until the injury.

Cater to the fans, IMO. That stadium atmosphere is for them. And most would love either AC/DC to Garth.
