Yep - season is playing out how I thought so far. I wasn’t worked up today - really wanted the win and hate Bama, but a win would have been gravy. Kentucky and Mizzou are both must wins in my book. I will be disappointed with a loss in either game.

I still think this team has magic in it. I’m hoping that’s Georgia.

This season would be a total success if we shatter Georgia's hopes and dreams in Neyland. It will totally change how we remember this season imo.

What?! This is year 3. We lost two last year in year 2. If anything he's proven he can be competitive with a talent differential. His first year told me that.

His system can keep lesser teams competitive but it has way too many flaws to take a good team over the top.

Nope, he just keeps proving to me what I thought when he was hired and I find it depressing. He's a really good bridge coach he needs 5-6 years to get the AA mess behind us and then it's time to find your championship coach.

That's ridiculous after three years. We'll know more about whether he's a championship coach in years to come. Did you expect a Championship after almost three years with the mess left by previous coaches/admin?

If we had last year's offense with this team, we would be 7-0. Stupid what ifs are stupid.

Counterfactual arguments are great tools for people that don't want to play with facts.

We very well may have still lost this game with even handed officiating. I will never blame officiating for a loss because you can't prove that it was the reason. However, I think this would have been a vastly different game with even handed officiating.

He is the reason we didn’t score a TD on 3 or more redzone visits. So yes he sort of is the reason we lost. Not to mention his Sack Fumble for a TD where he held the ball for 6 years staring down two receivers who weren’t open, thinking they would eventually get open?

The officials were bad but…..

The two 4th and 1 calls were terrible. Qb is 6’5 250 and you don’t sneak it if you’re going to go.

Got away with 1 but when you were up 20-17 and it was on our 49 you have to punt them deep. They had all the momentum and you ABSOLUTELY could not give them the ball 15 yards from scoring territory and on our side of the field.

I love Heupel and his aggressive calls. That cost us today

Right. I dont think it would be good to put him in a huge-pressure game. He's gonna make some mistakes early in this career, just hope he learns from them instead of constantly repeating them.

If we could somehow get the 1st half Joe, WRs, and coaching we'd be very hard to beat.

I hope Joe runs like he did today for the rest of the year. We'd have the absolute best rushing attack in the country.

We've done that. Even put a lineman in the backfield to push. Not sure why we didn't do it.

I think Bama started misdirection, double teaming (holding JJ, and Pearce). So they adjusted. We went away from the run, and couldnt make any plays.!

It wasn’t a fair catch signal. And Dee should have never made the signal for this very reason. He has not clue what har cam will do.

You only make that signal to kill play because the ball is over your head.
