If hes let go. I hope we throw the bank at him.Too little too late. Wonder if Pittman gets another season? FWIW they say he is one of the nicest most likable SEC coaches. I also think Arky is one of the toughest SEC jobs with their lack of proximity to talent compared to the rest of the conference. His downfall was cemented when his good coordinators left to take other jobs.
Thank you! Finally somebody gets it.Seems like we are the casualty of too much money to be made. SEC wants at least one team in the playoffs. With Georgia's soft schedule and other conferences looking better, they are going to cheat to make sure we have an east and west team undefeated in conference in the championship game. Watch as LSU gets screwed by Bama favoring refs when they go off the bye. And Georgia is going to be a world beater against Florida, with help from refs.. I'm watching with interest to see if my predictions come true.
Arizona St last night against Washington as well.Thank you! Finally somebody gets it.
The SEC was never going to allow us to beat one-loss Alabama and thus remove them from the playoffs. It's all about making the most money for the conference by guaranteeing that the SEC has at least one team in the playoffs, and hopefully two.
Those of you wanting Tennessee to move to another conference need to go watch the end of the Texas-Houston game yesterday. Houston was driving with only a few minutes left, and only needed 7 pts. to tie the game. They ran the ball on third down to the 9 yd line for a first down. Instead, the zebras spotted the ball one-half yard short. On multiple replays the forward progress clearly made the 9 yd line - both announcers agreed that it should have been a first down. Then on 4th down Houston failed to get the first down - game over. The Houston coach was livid.

Houston's mistake? Having a 3-3 record and playing one loss Texas, who still has a chance to make the playoffs.
Never forget how much they hate us, still, for Schiano. The powers that be (and, their media) said, "it's this way", and we said no. They don't like that. Basketball and baseball are just collateral damage, with baseball and Tony V just adding to that hate. What exactly is there to be displeased about with us in basketball or baseball? Don’t get it. We should be a favored program in both of those sports with how well we’ve performed.
He threw for 271 yards and two TD.We didn't get conservative. The defense adjusted to our QB not being a threat to light them up. Joe running delayed that a bit and was one of the best things he did for us all game but at some point it becomes clear to defenses that our passing game doesn't exist and that takes everything else away.
None of the things you snipe about mattered one iota. It was televised racketeering, not a football game. Bama's OL held every down. Joe's did not. Apples and oranges. You didn't even notice the stolen TD pass we suffered in the first quarter on an uncalled blatant defensive holding on our receiver in the endzone. You repeat your tired old mantra regardless of circumstance. These circumstances were rigging on a truly historic level.Yeah that’s very telling of why we are handicapped right now. On Joe Milton’s best day...
