It is the defensive players job from keeping the OL from getting on you inside the body. But when they reach and grab outside the frame of the body, it.....is.....an.....easy.....call.

i wasnt discussing every call in the game…. just that a lot of the holds that people have shared aren’t holds, imo.

Well there will never be a game that officials don't miss at least 3 to 4 calls..it's humans were depending on...the conspiracy theory all goes back to Sankey and Saban...I still ask if Sankey allows Saban to manipulate the SEC...Why in the world would SEC schools vote to give Sankey a contract extension in June..?

I don't believe it's a vast conspiracy. I tend to discount most conspiracies without a good deal of compelling evidence. I do believe it's incompetence and mismanagement. There does seem to be a good deal of 'home cooking' with home teams getting more favorable calls. And, there does seem to be a plan to call less penalties for things like PI. Personally, I want a lot more transparency in how officials are managed and judged and yes, let's start releasing grades after each game.

The only one that I have seen that could be a gray area is the one where jersey is pulled at the arm pit. Sure, it's inside the body frame, but it is using jersey to make the block instead of using your body weight to move the player.

Actually, people say that you could call holds on every play. That makes it even worse, considering the one or two they called were on us. We know the officials saw what we also saw. There are three officials whose jobs are to watch the lines. We know the back official saw the hold on Castles. They were conscious decisions not to make those calls. The Baron hold is the most egregious you will ever see- it is textbook holding. That flag would come out so fast in an NFL game. They call holding for much less.
