If NFL crews are not rigging outcomes they are better than SEC officials. If they were merely incompetent the bad calls would have a different distribution.I don't watch a lot of NFL (Titans, Falcons) but I think the NFL officials are much better and efficient that NCAA officials.
Respect you defending your team. Most of your entire 3rd paragraph is regarding the previous GM, who was fired for his poor decisions. New GM drafted an OL first round and took levis in 2nd. He deserves a chance.
Vrabel is best coach titans have ever had since moving to Tennessee and it’s not really remotely close. Done way more with less (which goes back to the previous GM and his poor drafts, free agencies, and contract issues)
I’m afraid of this also. Used to love watching the NFL but now can’t stand it. But nothing compared to watching college football all day long with everything planned around Tennessee. The playoffs ruined the fun with the same teams being guaranteed of being in because of talent and not being allowed to lose. So I am down to just watching Tennessee. Hoping the expanded playoff will bring some of the fun back. If not, I will just keep up with our three great coaches. For me, it's much less a discussion per Titans, and more a general malaise toward the entire NFL.
And the thing that concerns me greatly is that I'm developing the exact same thing toward NCAAF.
While NFL officials probably put in more time, most are still part time. I think the NFL made a small percentage full time to have them available. But, many are still currently employed elsewhere in the offseason and mid-week.They are also full-time employees as well. Not the part-time **** NCAA pulls
The first King book I ever read. While I loved the movie...yeah, the book was way more scary and intense and disturbing. The book is much more intense. Scared the crap out of me as a teenager. I would read right before going to bed. I would finish for the evening, turn off the light…then turn the light back on to read until I got to a non scary point…read all night because I couldn’t sleep with the imagery.![]()
The Stand is my favorite King novel. Masterpiece. You are correct.
Few of King's novels fully translated to screen. But Misery was pretty good. Less of a horror and more of a psychological dread.
Both attempts at The Stand were pitiful. The novel was amazing if you can stick with it.
Clive Barker was similar. Didn't translate to screen.
Oddly, I think Neil Gaiman's stuff translates excellently to the screen. Probably because of his background in graphic novels...?
The few times rucker has been in he got turned into toast quickly. Ill be glad to see him and a few other db’s move on, more particularly at STARI don’t think we see Rucker. I think he may be one of the guys the staff encourages to look elsewhere this offseason. Just speculation on my behalf but the kids been here three years and never plays (that I notice, anyways)
I happen to think a lot of us on here are assholesI see it as a lot of teams that we claim to be obnoxious...are to an extent, but mostly they are just assholes (Fl as an example). We as a fanbase are completely obnoxious, but in a friendlier sort of way (for the most part).
We as a fanbase also warned everyone how obnoxious we would be once we started winning again. I'd say we have held up our end of the bargain.
