and neither do you. In general, spouses are not ok with their spouse grabbing someone else's ass in a bar. There are exceptions. Just knowing Meyer's history is enough for me that I guess his wife has accepted it but is probably not ok with it. You can think what you want. But, until I see evidence to the contrary, Meyer is a scumbag, IMO.
We’ve seen plenty of evidence that he is a scumbag. IMO some are just okay with others being scumbags.

Phil had won 5 games 2 out of three years and recruiting had dropped significantly….. it was time to move on…. our mistake was having an administration that didn’t care about athletics….. Plus hiring limp wristed AD’s…. we are strong from the top on down now.
Wait, the admin that didnt care about athletics gets credit for firing a legend but are to blame for bad hires?

And as another poster charged, our incompetent admin are to blame for bad hires, but they get credit for firing a legend?

If NFL crews are not rigging outcomes they are better than SEC officials. If they were merely incompetent the bad calls would have a different distribution.

And we suffered manifest pilfering by two ACC crews in '21, to boot. It's hard out there.
Funny you should mention distribution. If you apply Poisson distribution, which is using the average over a period of time to find the probability of an event occuring, to our game it is quite interesting. For example the probability of Alabama having only 1 penalty is .006. or in a 1000 games they would have 1 penalty 6 times.

Idk that they want to
NFL official averaged 11,400 a game last season...college football officials average 800-2500 a game ...big difference between the two...also NFL officials get an additional 1500-5000 more a game for playoffs..this is reason the officials are better in NFL..

They are also full-time employees as well. Not the part-time **** NCAA pulls
This notion that full time officials would change anything is ludicrous. Nfl officials are employed elsewhere too. You really think nfl officials just train all off season 40 hours a week? You think there are teams that play in spring so they can keep officiating then?

The problem with sec officials is that it's a good ole boys system. They don't care about being the best, they care about keeping their buddies in their positions. The league office has had plenty of reason to let go of underperforming crews and they never do. They don't care, that's the only problem.

Heck they'd love to be full time and use league money to fatten their wallets while they sit around and do nothing all off-season.

who gave them credit for firing him. It was time for him to go…game had started passing him by…. it happens to all coaches eventually.

I mean, if anyone is turning them in it’s either OSU or MSU. Maybe Penn State. My money would have been on OSU if it was something we could have bet on.
The first Big 10 Commandment is thou shalt have no other score but below Ohio State. Your not beating them two years in a row and and remaining unscathed.
