I'd prefer him to have at least some tiny time to learn and adjust to the new offense. It seems like Dobbs always comes into adverse circumstances.
It is the OC who will have to adjust to JD at first. The should be able find similar things to what he has been doing.

It started well. The problem is that King never really fleshed out the rules of the Dark Tower universe, so it kind of sprawled and meandered all over the place. Then he got hit by a van and almost died, got a God complex and made himself the center of the universe, then got vengeful as hell and turned the real-life guy that hit him with the van into a villain in the universe...

I mean, it was great, but the entire series kind of went off the rails as the universe inside of it collapsed. lol
I have said if King has a weakness it is finishing stories. It was a great story with a terrible anti-climatic ending. It is almost like he gets sick of writing or is up against a deadline or something.

Actually yes
Home Games ...Alabama, MSU, Florida, Kentucky
Away Games.... Georgia, Vanderbilt,Arkansas,Oklahoma
Dates not set as of now...
Actually, if you look on utsports.com it only lists the 4 nonconference games. I think the final schedule is still up in the air a little

Beamer better hope Harbaugh is fired asap. If this drags out, no one is safe, even recipients of info.
The allegation that coaches outside the B1G were provided with stolen signs is by far the greatest part of the scandal. Because, if it happened, it was a successful attempt to alter the playoff field. That includes in addition to us and Clemson, the allegation that TCU was warned by another coach that Michigan had stolen their signs for use in a playoff game, but because they were forewarned and because they had a full month to prepare, they were able to change all of their signs.

Add in the factor that the BIG coaches and the media covering them are now citing as evidence the difference "before and after" the sign stealing in Michigan's league play. That means if the larger and more threatening aspects of the sign scandal were not to be covered up, that same "before and after" reasoning would need be applied to Beamer, unless a manifest dishonesty were at work. And the fact that Beamer was previously busted for doing something very similar at a previous spot (using a stolen playbook), makes it all the more credible.

These things, if true and if proven, would entail that Michigan successfully undermined the credibility of last year's playoffs. Asterisks everywhere!

I think for that reason it will be covered up. For the TV networks, B1G, the SEC, the CFP, the NCAA, and the entire sports media gravy-train that would be affected it is simply too damaging. Cue up the "Too big to fail" slogan.

And I've noticed, in harmony with this hypothesis, that all talk about this greater and more damning aspect of what Michigan did has disappeared from media accounts and from the talk of the coaches, CFP, and NCAA people when they do speak about the sign stealing, The media thematizing and making fun of the goober who stole the signs for Harbaugh not only covers for Harbaugh (although no one in their right mind can think Harbaugh did not know), is also distracts the public from the fact that the most decisive portion of the allegations have been quietly dropped.

Yesterday Big 10 coaches were saying things like "something needs to be done now before it affects the playoffs," and I see the media running with that angle.

I've been bringing up all year the question of the Harbaugh's Assitant Offensive Coordinator being fired on the spot for misuse of university computers (in February, I think it was) with all the details completely hushed up -- with media acquiescence. Whatever that was, and I would be surprised if it were restricted to stolen sign video, it implicates the University of Michigan administration. Surely the AD doesn't managed the university's computer system.

OTOH, I hope that SCar keeps the goober Beamer forever. So I am somewhat conflicted in my own interests. But I think it would be fitting, if the allegations are true, that it be made public, and everyone forced to swallow the fact that playoffs were not on the level last year. UGA represents at the NCAA; I'm sure they will get right on that. 😂

You're right. Just look at Nick Saban. It's funny the Bamers grumbled for almost a year (until a few weeks ago) that Saban's time had come, the dynasty is over, blah, blah blah. So many fans are such morans.
it will happen to Saban as well

@Glitch I see you still haven't started the game thread yet..tick tock...let's go....🤣🤣🤣🤣
It has been made abundantly clear to me that starting another game thread may cause my house to catch on fire.

he only had 4 ints in 413 passes for less than a 1 int%…..He may have not ran it the way he wanted though…. who knows?
I brain farted...I didn't look to make sure before I posted that, but for some reason I thought I had read back when Heupel was hired that Gabriel was turnover prone, and Heupel wasn't happy with it.

I got lazy and my old addled brain deceived me.

I don't know why Heupel didn't try to get Gabriel to come with him...maybe he just didn't want to gut UCF anymore than he already was 🤷‍♂️

Stoops did just as good (or poor) with a wide receiver or Levis at qb. Didn't matter for UK, sucked either way.
The only thing that ever helped Stoops was cornpone. He even got one of his losses forfeited. He missed his chance to bolt when he got the NY6. But Lube U gave him such a ridiculous contract that he couldn't bring himself to go, for example, to Iowa. Prisoner of his bank account, but a bank account is not nothing. I suspect he worried that he would fail there. Also not an inconsiderable thing. KY fans show signs of turning on him. Not my problem.

I'm more frustrated with our terrible Admin not being able to replace Fulmer than the actual firing of Fulmer. Fulmer put us in a strong position to bring in a good coach once he was gone. From there, the circus began. At one point, I also believe it was time for Paterno to go in his career (earlier than he did). Though, his last couple of years were strong.
