You sound so ****ing stupid lol. The refs had ZERO impact today dude. We got our ****ing ass whooped. End of story. Go root for GA tech and be done with this **** like you said 2 years ago. Hold your word and honor

To say that the refs had no impact on the game or the last few games is disingenuous at best.

These are not mutually exclusive:

1) The lack of holding calls negates the strength of our defense.

2) Our linebacker play today was atrocious. Especially #44.

3) We are terrible at zone defense, yet Banks keeps calling it.

4) Milton significantly hampers what Heupel can call on offense.

5) Mizzou had a great gameplan on defense to sellout on the run and force Milton to beat them.

6) Heupel teams struggle on the road more than they should. USCjr game should be thrown out given the Michigan scandal and overwhelming evidence of Michigan/USCjr working together on the UT and Clemson games.

Why we as a fanbase attack fellow posters who post about one of the above as either being the exclusive reason or mutually exclusive to others really shows the lack of intelligence within our fanbase.

I would say that’s all the more reason to start Nico against Vandy. Barring a total disaster, you’re going to win that game regardless of who you start. Would be a good opportunity to let him get some experience and give us something to build on going into 2024.
I don't disagree, but at the same time of you go to him you have to stay with him in the bowl game...... I just don't see any real upside in doing that. A couple of games aren't going to make or break him for next year.

Media hacks piping in with Heupel complaints. Figures. Idiots have learned nothing from changing coaches every 3 or 4 years since the Fullmer days. Heupel will fix Heupel. Beat LSU like a drum on the road last year. Kentucky this year. Not sure all of that is accurate. He will make adjustments to the staff if needed. Finding the next flavor of the month ain't the answer. Continuity at the top of the program is critical. One thing I would like to see (just a personal preference) is the DC on the sideline and not in the box. Believe they are more hands on when that happens. Another thing to keep in mind, if you fire someone who are you going to get that's an upgrade?
I'm not high on Banks but you have to make sure you can upgrade if you let him go. Our defensive backfield should be alot more talented next year and hopefully we see it improve drastically. Heupel is already light years better than the last 3 guys combined. Let him get better, I guarantee he will. Like you said, Heupel will fix Heupel.

There were very minimal “lack of holding calls” today. I literally said previous games there is an argument.

Surely you aren’t talking about me attacking fellow posters when he replied to me with nonsense name-calling etc lol I just will happily return the favor

Today was a **** show. We got whooped

Heupel is only one game under .500 on the road at Tennessee.

Today was terrible and somethings need to change, but to act like he is needs to be fired is just insane.

And in case we forgot, Heupel hasn’t lost a game at home in almost 2 years….
No one (sane) thinks he should be fired. But it’s time to have some tough convos about the staff, play calling, and road performances. We need to make adjustments in these areas if we want to compete for conference and national titles under Heupel.

I don't think anyone wants to fire Heupel. Just noticing and pointing out some larger red flags that are popping up. The SEC was not very good this year and you are seeing some bad/dangerous patterns. Awful on the road, poor discipline, etc.

He's gonna be 2-7 against the big 3. Our best win this year is either Kentucky or a 5-4 A&M team.

I agree that criticism is warranted and clearly there is room for improvement.

I just think it’s disingenuous for people to act like an 8-4 season is a giant backslide while they’re ignoring the work and progress it took to make it a bad season considering where we were 3 years ago. You can’t have it both ways ya know?

Here is my only request for the rest of the season. I know it won’t happen, but one can dream. Keep Joe in there to get blasted by Georgia next week and protect Nico, let Joe have one series on senior day as a thank you, then please for the love of god just let Nico play the rest of the Vandy game.

There is just no excuse with this season being over to not let Nico play against Vandy and the bowl game. He would still retain his redshirt and get valuable reps for next year.

He’s played against UVA, UTSA, and UCONN so far. Vandy plus the bowl game puts him over four games, so wouldn’t he lose his RS? Not that it really matters. He should take over come the Vandy game regardless of his RS status.

Stop. There were multiple missed facemasks against us in the TAMU game and today. I was at Bama or I’m sure I’d have some missed from that one. The refs haven’t done us any major favors, but to put the loss today or in Tuscaloosa at their feet is simply embarrassing on our fan bases part.

Maybe we had a scheme tk take his brother and give him PT to ensure we got Caleb? Lol one can hope
Doubtful. The good in me wants to think our injuries at LB were a major part of the struggles today. The bad in me thinks we may be screwed with the current D staff for the future. The talent is finally there, even if young. Time to scheme em up.
