-Get to at least 8-4
-Win the bowl game
-Keep stacking recruiting class
-Hit the portal hard
-Nico will get the mojo back on the offense in 2024

Mizzou whipped us today no doubt, Heupel still will have the two best seasons in the last 16 years in only 3 years here. Banks has to figure something out, we still need a talent upgrade at most spots on defense but we are so hot and cold on D. Still clawing our way out of the gutter that has been the last 20 years. Heupel can get us there.

...and then Urban...one of the greatest coaches of this era...quit because of the idiot fans
Sure. But he also came back and won another national championship with a 83-9 record. Point being if you’re at a huge program like that and feelings get hurt over a few fans pissed over losing by 30 to teams like Missouri then you probably shouldn’t be at a program like Tennessee in the first place

Heupel isn’t on the hotseat, nor should he be. However, this game does raise some major redflags and it is reasonable to start questioning them. 1-10 when trailing at the half, and absolutely 💩’ing the bed in 5 off the last 7 road (Vanderbilt doesnt count) games is not how you win championships. Last year we had a legitimate shot at the CFP and we lost to a mediocre USCjr team. This year we still had a shot at the SEC championship game and we lost 39-7 to an average Missouri team. Idk what needs to change, but if we ever want to go to the SEC Championship game and the CFP, this has to be fixed, and if it’s not then it could put his job in jeopardy down the road.
Not disagreeing there are some questions but actually getting to the point we did last year in year 2 with the program he inherited convinced me he could coach.

I still wonder how much its coaching versus players not running the system well. Hope nico is everything we hope he is.

CJH shouldn't give a damn...what fans think..the only individuals opinions he should care about..are Danny White and the boosters who pay his salary...
He shouldn't give a damn about anyone's opinion. Just fix what's wrong. THAT should be what he's concerned with.

Even if they were the majority my point stays the same. HC’s can’t have thin skin, especially in the SEC
Yup. There’s been a vocal minority in bama’s fan base decrying Saban since the Texas loss. Even the close wins don’t shut them up about how the program has fallen. You think he cares? You think Kirby cares about UGA fans whining about close September wins while they’re still ramping up? Every fan base whines, as you say. If a coach can’t handle it, they likely don’t belong in P5 football.

All that said, what did Heupel/another one of our coaches say to make people think he has thin skin? lol

One thing I notice on other teams that I don't see near enough on our own team, fired up players. Sometimes, our guys come across so dispassionate. Where's the excitement? Play like your hair is on fire. I don't see that enough from this team.
Feels like they are arrogant and entitled from last year's success.

Well, you win some and lose some. This is disappointing, but future is still bright. We have come a long way since Pruitt. Need to get better on O-line and upgrade at DC. If UGA drills us then Banks is gone
After today, I want Banks gone. No it isn’t all on him. The players have some of the blame on them also today, but he’s the captain of the ship.

Not sure MO sold out for the run. They sold out for the deep ball. Looked like most of the time we had favorable numbers in the run game and just couldn’t produce.

Heupel basically said at halftime and in post-game that Missouri surprised them with their “defensive structure”. I’ve noticed the 3 teams who have handled our run game played 3 down linemen, all between the tackles, with one over the center.

Plug up our run game between the tackles and we are in trouble.
