I know. I didn't mean to give that impression. I'm sure the players are frustrated and beaten up, but I think the issues are broader than that. Having UGA on deck doesn't help. But the team plays better with fan support in Neyland.

What do you hate about what’s already committed?

i’m fine with what we have committed but none of them have shown up on campus yet. Right now….. we are in year three with Ollie Lane, Dayne Davis Crawford getting major minutes… Wr knew backup center was a huge issue in 2021 and now in 2023…. we still don’t have a viable back up center….I don’t believe that you need all 4-5* lineman to have a dominant line…. you do have to know what you are looking for and to get the guys that have that kind of potential. Right now…. VQ acts like we have no one on campus that is close to being a viable option.

They have done a good job preparing the guys we are currently using but that is helped immensely by the type of offense that we run.

After that debacle of a football game yesterday, I was feeling pretty down. One of my friends tried to cheer up and reminded me, "Come on, Man, cheer up, It could be worse. You could be stuck underground standing in a pool of water. It didn't really help, but I know he means well.

At least we’re not USC. Top 5 at one point with a Heisman contender at QB. Have now lost 4 of 5 with the lone victory being by a single point against Cal. And, they’ve given up 4,297 points.

So there’s that.
