Wow. Jayden Daniels is so damn good. If only we had a playmaker like that at QB….god I hope Nico doesn’t turn out to be a bust.
He is the next Daniels. Maybe lankey, but good runner...more inportantly twitchy and quick and knows when to get moving.

Also remember it took Daniels this long. But I think Nico won't...but could.

There's basically a direct correlation between number and insaneness of fans to the pressure of a coaching job.
Meyer said it was pressure from himself. He became so obsessed with winning that he didn’t even celebrate the NC win. He just wanted to keep winning. He went days without eating from the stress and anxiety and couldn’t sleep. He was addicted to ambien and got treated for dehydration shortly after winning his second NC

The grind of the SEC especially during his time, Is much harder than Ohio state or Utah

He has to want that to happen.
Is he going be loyal to an underperforming, overpaid coach to his own detriment?

He claimed his defense was going to be dynamic, disruptive, innovative. It's about the polar opposite of all those things.

Heupel seems super competitive, I can't believe he's content with that side of the ball.

Lol Pruitt Talk "buy a football team" and run off your current guys smh. Heupel is aggressive and wants to win, but not make knee jerk reactions or go full Deion

We just now have our best talent heading in. These guys have developed a borderline top-16-20 roster in 3 straight years.

Just wait...

Well it’s safe to say it’s either that happening or he’ll be booted after 6-7 years 8-4 record. Banks is a drag. Hopefully he chooses the obvious path. I like Heupel.
I like CJH, too. People have to respect what he's done and has the potential to do. He's in no danger of getting booted any year soon, but he can be better and he has the resources to make UT better. Winning the division was aspirational, but it was dependent on things that did not happen. Getting blown out by UF and Mizzou and fighting to finish midpack was not on the bingo card.

9-3/8-4 is going to be the new normal…with the occasional 10-2/11-1 championship runs

VERY few programs will be able to consistently win 10-11 regular season games in the new SEC
Right and 9-3 gets you into the playoffs out of the SEC (maybe assuming you at least have one big win). Get in, stay healthy, peak late.

It will be more of a basketball approach than in the past.

We’re 7-3 going into a big game against UGA with our home win streak on the line. Feels like we’re growing while having a couple set backs here and there. Interested to see how next week goes
This. The narrative on the program obviously shift dramatically if TN beats #1 UGA in Neyland Saturday regardless of the bad games vs Mizzu and UF. Big opportunity

I really hope the administration doesn’t think a 8-4 season is a good season. Holy **** what’s the point in going to games or donating to NIL or athletics department? Lmao imagine Kirby Saban or the other top SEC programs thinking 8-4 is a good season. Saban would resign immediately if he went 8-4. Aggies are about to run off Jimbo for hovering around a 8-4 record just as they did sumlin. Just not reality in the upper sec
Lol Jimbo has a top 5 roster in year 6. He didn't start out with that. He gained it and yet lost in spite of all that talent.

We're literally in the 15-20 range in Y3 and will be top-12 in the next year with a stud QB. Keep recruiting at this level and it's a gamechanger as we broach top 10 talent.

We literally have 4 guys from the 2021 class meanwhile TAMU was busy buying the greatest class there's ever been 😅

The only red flag I have with Heupel is the effort in big road games.

Still thankful to have Heupel and hopes he takes the same ascent that Dabo took Clemson.
I would counter that the only teams immune to big road SEC losses are teams with far more talent than everyone else.

LSU, UF, Auburn, TAMU, UK, Ole Miss, just name your team over the last 3 years.

Our saving hope is Nico is HH 2.0, incoming talent is a big step up across the board, and the next USCjr thinks twice before they put themselves in the middle of a legal battle by buying our signs from some other program.
