No. Your ill-advised thread came first. How do we know that's not what caused his sorry team to play dirty??
Yes…. It was all @Glitch

My little band of Govs would never bring bats, chains, or brass knuckles to a Waffle House fight, unless unknown forces were at play.
We only do that during the Mu**ay game.

The coaches weren't trying to be vanilla Saturday; the offense wasn't executing to plan. Nobody wants to succeed more than Joe Milton, but Game Joe is not the same as Practice Joe, and the receivers had difficulty adjusting. When the adrenaline is pumping, Joe tends to throw high or behind the receivers. He ups the velocity. The WRs are being asked to catch difficult balls. Trying to balance a talented, but inconsistent, QB with very good WRs who're not getting the ball they expect creates what we saw Saturday. We'll just take the W and continue to find a workaround for games where Joe isn't at his best and the WRs aren't hauling in the catches.
Anyone else says this and they would be attacked. Lol. Glad you posted the truth, LA. I swear I would give him a damn Xanax before games and he would probably complete 90% of his passes. Lol

Great teams find ways to win when situations aren't ideal. The QB needs to settle in. The WRs need to make difficult catches. The OL needs to help out. The RBs need to get the tough yards when the passing game isn't syncing. It's where we are, and so far, they're making it work. We'll see if we can get it synced on Saturday.

I won’t be surprised if a hostile environment is exactly what this offense needs to focus and click.
The good thing is, like you said, everyone can take responsibility to this point, and they need to come together to make it work. They all know their potential as individuals, and as a group, and they may have been too caught up in the idea of what they could be. Now they know all that promise is a double-edged sword, so I’m hoping they focus this week and start hitting their stride Saturday.

The thing about Florida is we’re their Kentucky. Kentucky was their Kentucky but that ended some years ago when Mark Stoops of all people figured out how to win in the Swamp. But in any case, Florida expects to beat us and they usually do, even when we’re decent to better than they are.

Losing to us would break their whole season. But we haven’t won there in 20 years and in those twenty years we’ve only got 4 wins. Kentucky has 3 in that last 5 years. Got to get over the hump.

Do you think Nico gets some run if Joe struggles against UF and we lose? I know they think he is special.

Amazing how SEC lobbies to protect Bama. To the point that we drop 2 spots despite being 2-0 with an P5 win and having just won by 17.

Bama is 1-1 and coming off a double digit loss at home to the only P5 team they’ve faced.
Sadly no one to blame but ourselves for that. I think we are definitely ahead of bama in the polls if we simply don’t look like a bad FCS team for over a half against AP.

Having an elite RB room is a big help, I could see 2 or 3 hitting 100+ in a game.

This is why I despise social media these young men give their all every week...sometimes it's great and sometimes it isn't...don't belittle these athletes...I bet the people talking **** will be the first ones kissing his ass when he lights Florida up this weekend....
Well said------

So no blame for the **** officiating that let that FCS team hold for 80% of the game and also took a clear fumble away?

Offense played bad save a few drives, but AP moved the ball solely because of bad officiating.

Tennessee fans are the best fan base in America in my eyes.... but sometimes fans get too caught up in the game....they have to remember it's just a game not life or death...or as my father said the sun will come up tomorrow no matter what...in conclusion for every 100000 fans there is always a few Harvey UpDykes in the crowd...
Did some of our fans poison a tree o_O o_O o_O

He seems to be targeted most often.
He's been getting targeted far more often, but he's actually been doing a great job with it. Everybody notices the PI calls, but even if you count a PI call as a 15 yard reception, he's only giving up 2.9 yards per target while breaking up 31% of his targets. His aggressiveness will bring the PI calls, but statistically, the strategy is paying off in the long run.
