I have a newfound respect for the care associated with concussions. My 14 year old daughter had one last Monday in her basketball game. She’s still having symptoms and not practicing or playing over a week and a half later. Let me tell you it’s scary because you only have one brain. I’m not real keen on her future with contact sports at this point in time.

When the FSU got hit, he knocked the back of his head and his eyes rolled. That’s scary and nothing to take lightly. I’m not surprised he is out this week. Get well, young man.
Yup when I was in college. We had a guy on our team get concussed, he was out almost 3 months, and what he had to go through I wouldn't wish on anyone. There were days he couldn't get out of bed because the dizziness and nausea was so bad.

But why hate someone you don't agree with? That's what I don't get. We get more upset when someone disagrees us than we do when someone actually does something horrible. I don't have to agree with the politics of every player. It's no skin off my nose if one believes something I think is off the wall or wrong.
I hate him because he hates me....and idiots like froboy put my deputy sheriff son in law, and one of my best friends on earth who is also a deputy sheriff...plus several other friends who are LEOs lives in danger by promoting hatred of law enforcement.

That's why...and if you defend that sorry po💩...then count yourself hated too.

At least in the NFL not everyone is a free agent. You have to be with the team a certain amount of time before you become available. In college anyone can become available each year. That’s causing the “Wild West” chaotic feel.

We should take advantage while we can. I think there will be more restrictions in the future because it’s so out of hand right now.
UDFA’s…which are like the high level FCS signees.

Scholarships have always been 1 year contracts just fyi. Schools have always had options. Now the players have options
It used to be at least 2 year commitments with the rule to sit out. Now we have guys getting offered money while "under contract". The NFL does not have that. It's called tampering. Without a CBA (which is what this is heading toward with the major p5 schools), it's chaos. There needs to be a level of agreement between both parties.

Glad to hear about your experience. I still think you're being naive if you don't think the IRS doesn't have a long reach.

Anyway consider me dead on this hill. Too tired to move any farther.
IRS is a joke.

We have 330 million people in this country and you think they can monitor all of them with a couple hundred thousand.

I’ve sat in on Audits and quoted tax code that they didn’t even know existed. There is a reason the IRS recruits retired Partners from accounting firms. They don’t have the expertise or wherewithal to understand what these businesses are doing so they hire the experts to help.

Scholarships, for a long time, have been 1 year commitments from the school. So a school could move on from a kid with no repercussions.

Now players can do it. It’s beautiful.

I've read most of if not all Connelly books, good reads.

Another author I've enjoyed is John Sandford with the Prey books, if you enjoy detective novels, Lucas Davenport is a bad ass too..
That’s my other author! He’s done really well branching out from Lucas Davenport with Both Virgil Flowers and Lizzie.

You couldn’t play.

Lol

Truth be told, I didn’t last long either. I cared way more about partying
Pft. I was good. But limited in foot work in comparison. The ball and my foot were not one like these guys have it. But with them being just as fast, it made that separation more obvious. Coach loved how I played CAM though.
