Auburn now with TWO 5* WR's... and NO QB to throw to them worth a flip... No reason in the world we shouldn't end up with at least ONE more high tier WR from the portal with Nico on deck... No reason. Again, top WR's should be flocking to this offense. Get it done Heup, or no excuses.

In fairness, that probably changes next year when the playoff is expanded to 12 teams. My guess is the goal is to have 4 SEC teams a year.

I agree with you at most positions on the field save DB's, I just haven't seen much progression from year one to three. In fact it could be argued they've regressed. I believe that position has held the defense back significantly for a couple of years now.

Is it the players or is it coaching or some combination of the two? Whatever way you shake it out it must be addressed. SEC defenses have a file on CJH's offense now, it's still effective but you must improve defensively to compete in this league. IMO the position group that has consistently been lacking is Martinez's group.

If we had been playing young guys I'd live with growing pains..... But that isn't what we've been doing.

The young athletic dbs on the team and coming in need to put in some serious work. Hyatt levels of dedication work. Hard to make young guys to truly understand that. Hyatt again a good example
