Auburn now with TWO 5* WR's... and NO QB to throw to them worth a flip... No reason in the world we shouldn't end up with at least ONE more high tier WR from the portal with Nico on deck... No reason. Again, top WR's should be flocking to this offense. Get it done Heup, or no excuses.

Freeze rarely runs the ball from what I remember at OM. Lots of action for WRs in that offense.

Is recruiting good? Yes, is it competing with GA, AL good? Not yet. All JMO.

Tennessee’s recruiting seems to be in-line with results from the past two or so decades (with a few clear outliers) which leads me to conclude this is kind of what we should expect as fans.

That’s not a negative statement. It appears to me at least to simply be a fact.

We can still make noise with this kind of talent and I’m excited to watch!

Coach should’ve known how to deal with fans discontented with mediocrity as that was why he was finally booted. He knew all about mediocrity at UT.

In Majors last 4 seasons, the team finished ranked inside the top 15 all four seasons. Finished inside the top 10 twice. Suggesting he was mediocre is completely ridiculous. He made enemies with the wrong people and Fulmer, for all the good things he did at Tennessee, backstabbed Johnny.

Tennessee was in a much worse spot when Heupel took the job than when Johnny did, and the program at the end of Heup’s third season is miles ahead of where were after Majors third season. I’m as disappointed as anyone that we blew a gasket at Florida and that we were a no show at Mizzou, but we are still ahead of schedule and are bringing in a recruiting class filled with blue chip recruits.

If you believe in SEC conspiracies, UGA would be easy money.

Given last night and this afternoon, UGA is the SEC's only chance to put a team in the playoffs.
Yes, I think UGA wins and if it is close I would almost guarantee officials inserting themselves.

Recruiting at this level will get you a consistent 8-4 to 10-2 type years. Given the conference we're in, I doubt any championships will be played for. If that's what we can expect and should be happy with, I don't think I'll be more than a casual fan. I sure hope coach Heupel doesn't think that way. He stated he doesn't. I take him at his word.
