The great thing the committee did was draw attention to their good ole boy corruption.

If either Bama or Texas loses their first game in the playoffs, they did not deserve to be there. They will be a 2 loss team. They will be losing to an undefeated P5 conference champion, having taken the place of the P5 conference champion who did not even get the opportunity they earned on the field.

If both Bama and Texas wins, the committee will have proven they were correct in their assessment. Good luck, committee.

What are you supposed to look like? You're allowed to win with defense. They won every game. Thats what football is supposed to be about. Finding ways to win. Its not an eye test. Our eyes lie to us. Scoreboard rules all. Florida State is a prestigious program. They got treated like Liberty.

There’s SIXTY-EIGHT teams in the tournament in College Basketball, and the difference between a 1 or 2-seed is negligible. And the games are settled on the court, and each contender has a fair chance. What a horrible comparison. Wow.

A group of people sit in a room and choose who gets in based on analytics and “eye test”. It’s exactly the same process. The number of teams is just different.
