Sure, but the teams left out feel the same whether it’s 64 or 4.

This same argument and outrage will play out when it is 12 teams.
There’s no comparison between being the 65th best team in the country vs being the 5th best cmon. #8 is the lowest seed to ever win the tourney and that was 40 years ago

Nothing but emojis. The white flag of message board parlance.
Dude, you have done nothing but compare the nfl/college debate to the Mets. That’s comparing an apple to an orange. I’m trolling you at this point and having fun at it. Try harder big boy. You’ll get there someday in the 901

Yea and Bama lost by double digits at home along with multiple very close games with **** teams…. But your justification was they beat the #1 team. Just bcuz you beat the #1 team doesn’t mean you’re the best
No, my justification is that they (along with Georgia, OSU, Oregon) are better than this version of FSU.

I don’t particularly care what FSU did before Travis got injured (and they were REALLY good, top 4 worthy), but this version of FSU just is not.

My argument has less to do with Bama being good enough and more to do with FSU not being good enough.

Yea, hendon hooker was a role player for sure. You people probably take mirror selfies and post them to facebook
Hooker was a burnout at VTech and was brought in by Pruitt. He was not high profile nor sought after

He was so valued he sat the bench until Joe got injured and CJH continued to ride the hot hand, the rest is history.

But thanks for helping prove my point........

But the point was “analytics and eye test”.

The process is the same. The bias is the same. The # of teams is just different.

There will soon be outrage over the #13 CFB team - it’s unavoidable with this process.

Yes, you exhibit many of the qualities of a troll. Self delusion being one of them.

It's future potential vs past performance. Most fans prefer we use past performance (although I'm 100% positive if the roles were reversed, most would still be fighting to keep Bama out), but the committee views their job as predicting future potential.

Except your arguments have holes in it and doesn’t work.

*Now's the time for all the evidence that @LA Vol said UT has compiled over corrupt SEC officiating be brought to the nation's attention. There's enough media calling out the bias that I think it could gain traction now. Other SEC conference teams need to stand up to bama/Sankey and get them out of this league. Totally clean house and get the SEC office out of Birmingham, Alabama.
If this is gonna be done right , you have to put ESPN and all their employees on trial too..

You just literally contradicted yourself lol
Where exactly?

We don't go after the flashy highly sought after transfers. We specifically target guys we feel can play specific roles.

With the exception of Verse I'm not sure there have been others....I asked if anyone else was aware of others.

Again, please show me exactly where I contradicted myself? I believe you are attributing something to me I never said or stated......... Wouldn't be the first time either.

The first part of this is basically right. (Which is why no one would answer @Vol423’s question: answering would be tantamount to accepting a premise we disagreed with in the first place.)

The bottom part is more shaky. The committee’s history wouldn’t give you a great indication of which they value more. They seem to use them both ad hoc to rationalize whatever decision they end up making. As such, it’s hard to fault fans for falling back on past performance as a better metric; it’s less speculative and more in line with most people’s value systems as to what’s “fair.”

I agree there will be outrage over #13 but never to this extent. No P5 13-0 conference champ will ever be left out. There’s also not much outrage outside of the specific fanbase when a team is left out of the dance

At least with CBB they have models they tell you they follow and tell you what they care about. Your record vs top 50 teams isn’t subjective. CFB committee bases their rankings off subjective bs and they aren’t even consistent

We had Neyor commited before he changed his mind. Norman-Lott and Campbell were good transfers. Some of it is subjective- do they fit? What position? How much did we actually watch of them? Will they translate to the SEC?

Chiefs missing Hill this year I feel like. These receivers just aren't good enough to win it all. I feel like they're going to see some more decline, just can't afford the elite players around Mahomes like they could before they gave him half a billion.
