He's not saying "Who do you/we want to see play in the playoff?". He's saying, "As a coach, we ask ourselves who we would want to have to try to beat?". It's another way of saying, "We work to put the best in the playoff, as opposed to the most deserving."Yikes. There is an insane amount of bias, unconscious or not, in the committee asking themselves that type of question.
Do you have any experience with Farrell-Calhoun? Always heard its excellent. But out of my price range, for decking@smokeyhuntsgators TWP is good too, but it's pretty expensive.
Next year, I want better defined criteria with a clear hierarchy of factors, I want them consistently applied week-to-week, season-to-season, and I want public defenses of their decisions to be specifically connected to those criteria.I hope the guy coming in next year is better.
No matter what they did somebody was going to be mad, do what you think you need to, tell it how it is and move on. The more you try to defend it the worse it looks.
He's a helluva talent. Think we are seeing tough love fly up in our noses like the flush of a toilet. No matter, RG is the man.TB says about a year ago Walter Nolen reached out to Tennessee asking if he could come here. We said “Sure” and he said “How much will I get?” And Rodney Garner essentially said “You’ll get developed”. Apparently Garner was never super high on Nolan in the first place so we saw no need to make a big $$ offer.
A white freshman mid three star DB who never saw the field has an NIL value of 100k?
Idk where on3 comes up with these stupid valuations but they should eliminate that feature. There is zero chance thats accurate.
Besides arguing over a G5 or P5 team for the last spot, I don't see much room to debate with 12 teams.Next year, I want better defined criteria with a clear hierarchy of factors, I want them consistently applied week-to-week, season-to-season, and I want public defenses of their decisions to be specifically connected to those criteria.
Are you kidding? There’s vociferous debate about the last teams in a 68-team basketball tourney. The debate will be let.Besides arguing over a G5 or P5 team for the last spot, I don't see much room to debate with 12 teams.
Looking at the final rankings this season, I don't really see any debate to be had.
Better tell them not to get injured: automatic F.Had to inform my students today that rather than assessing them on their performance throughout the semester, I will be convening a committee of individuals who have never taught a college course nor even actually taken one to assign their grades. Kirk Herbstreit told me it was a good idea.
