Haven't seen the RF look this much like the FF in my lifetime.
We've been arguing over the ethnic makeup of CFB, capitalism, and complaining about a 10% operating budget of the group working hardest to land the guy were pissed we lost. Well played. It was like reading an assortment of angry posts from every forum on the site.

I’m not concerned about the Seaton result I just want more success in the portal this cycle. We don’t have enough regular recruiting success to sit back and just take a few players. UGA and Alabama can do that but even they plug in upgrades. We need to be upgrading key positions or we’re just going to fall behind our rivals in the league.

Exactly, this was never just about Seaton. It’s been a trend. Struck out on tons of highly rated guys this cycle. Miss on Seaton, then have we to hear how highly regarded transfers are “too expensive”.

I’m just a Captain trying to help them get more members because I think NIL is important, believe in our players being treated well and also think the perks of being a member are no brainers for the investment.

I am far from a formal spokesperson for what the major power players on all three sides think. (Coaches, Top Boosters, TVC staff)

In the end I’m just a fan on a message board voicing my opinion.

TSSAA is thinking about doing what Florida does and allowing high school students to be immediately eligible for sports wherever they show up to attend school at. They wouldn't have to move to the school district or anything. Kids could transfer to multiple schools in a year in be immediately eligible each time.

I’ll also add that when all is said and done in Late Jan when you factor in player retention keeping young guys out of portal, bringing back older potential NFl draft players, HS recruiting class and high impact portal additions we will likely be one of the top 5 or so programs overall for this cycle.

So we are all complaining about an overall pretty high level job by everyone involved.

I’ll also add some perspective for everyone to consider that when all is said and done in Late Jan when you factor in player retention keeping young guys out of portal, bringing back older potential NFl draft players, HS recruiting class and high impact portal additions we will likely be one of the top 5 or so programs overall for this cycle.

I think it’s loyalty over winning for Heupel and company

This was a discussion on Basilio earlier this week. Basically boiled down to how the most successful teams in the SEC upgrade players and assistant coaches if they aren’t performing. Once you realize something isn’t working you have to make a change. If you don’t make a change the league figures out the weakness, exploits it, and starts the downward spiral for that head coach. Status quo will not work for Tennessee.

By now, UGA and Alabama would have fired CWM and replaced many of the secondary players through the portal. We’ve recruited and developed well on the DL. Why can’t we make some changes so the secondary has the same success?
