Listen not trying to be an ass, this isn't some "I told you so", and I'm certainly not happy to be proven somewhat correct in my worry, but people need to realize, recruiting HAS to get better. We won't reach where we want to go recruiting this way. I'm not anti-Heupel. I love the freakin' guy. Not in the same way Glitch loves him, not that I'm judging, but he HAS to figure out recruiting, and I'm honestly starting to believe some staff changes are going to have to be involved. Torch me for my opinion if you want, but I want Heupel to succeed, and I want to see the Vols win championships again.

You keep doing you. I honestly think we both want the same thing, for the Vols to win championships with Heupel at the helm. But I see a glaring problem and you don't. A difference of opinion that we probably won't agree on.

I don’t think people realizing it or not realizing it makes any difference.

I think Heupel needs to realize you win in this league with elite players, and I think he needs to learn how to attack the portal, but he’s not gonna learn that from VolNation.com.

I honestly don't understand Baron and Slaughter going into the portal. Makes zero sense to me. But it's concerning.

Way way worse and it’s not close. Baron is from Knoxville and grew up knowing about the hatred for Bama. HT is from California and didn’t understand what it meant until he was here. Baron to Bama would be like a starter who was from Ann Arbor Michigan transferring to Ohio State.

Yeah we’re all good I was just discussing it. There are other TE’s in the portal that are being offered by legit programs. Joly’s best after UT is either NC St, AZ St, MS St.

Just wondering why some here think he’s one of the best in the portal? Not even saying he isn’t. But we look at offers for HS kids and question their skill based on offers. Why not the same here?

Not singling you out either. I keep asking everyone who posts about him. No one ever answers.

Exactly...unregulated greed..all the wealth, property and opportunity concentrated in very few hands eventually leads to chaos, gulliotines and rivers of blood.

The more people that have a real healthy stake in the status quo, the better for everybody

When the VAST multitude of people are disatisified and disenfranchised, they begin to feel hopeless, oppressed and basically enslaved....then the REALLY bad 💩 starts.

The relative prosperity of our huge working lower middle class has been our greatest strength in my opinion and it depends on common sense regulation to continue to exist.

Sadly common sense and care for our lower-mid middle class seems to have disappeared and corruption rules now...so people should see where it's heading unless something changes.

I think Slaughter is frustration, injury and sparse playing time last year, and if I remember correctly he mentioned at one point he wanted to play safety instead of corner.
