But never being able to take that next step would eventually grow stale, like Mark Richt.

I can't speak for everyone, but for myself, I was really hoping to see us actually compete for championships again in my lifetime. And I don't mean squeaking into a 12-team playoff as #11 or 12. I mean actually being able to win the whole damn thing.

He might be? He’s also just been doing this one year. He helped land one of the best high school TEs in Davis and a pretty good transfer last year in Castles. I’ll wait until this class is actually finished to judge it.

All of that still has little to do with the fact that this staff has done a good job of addressing needs in the portal so far.

Or maybe the fans that finance ALL of this can say whatever they want.

And the players that come across as having a 3rd grade level vocabulary that got access to a college education from said finances should shut the hell up publicly.

You do not have to give to criticize. I never wrote that. You assumed that is what I meant.
If anyone criticizes that Spyre cannot get a certain player and they have not contributed themselves, then maybe the problem is not Spyre. The problem might be the lack of funds that Spyre has to distribute.

Have they? On offense, I would agree. On defense, not so much.

We could have last year. He can, but this offense needs Nico to be a huge upgrade. Once we can show those fireworks again guys will come.

I have been off VN for a couple of hours, so this might be old news. I heard a rumor that Tyler Baron is going to Texas for big, big money. I would not blame our staff for not matching.
