Recruiting Football Talk VII

From a legal standpoint, can the recorded conversation be used in a lawsuit since it was recorded without Kiffin's consent?
Maybe some of our legal experts can weigh in on this issue.
Yes, in the state of Mississippi, only one party in a recording needs to consent to being recorded. So in most cases its the person recording that's consenting.

As long as that recording is verified and is real, then Kiffin and Ole Miss have serious issues ahead. Not taking into account the legal side of it, the recruiting side will definitely suffer. That is not a good look at all for how parents expect their child to be treated by a head coach.
These suits are no good for football. Love or hate Kiffin, a kid who blows off practice and won’t return his head coaches phone calls and then claims mental illness and sues for millions is bad. Then he throws in racial discrimination and sexual discrimination based on white males and female athletes being treated differently. Coach’s and Universities don’t want the bad press and then settle. This generation is soft and lazy and want the east money option.

Very true and the judicial system, social media, etc make it easy for them.

I told my wife she draws her eyebrows too high. She looked surprised.

Them making this drastic a move after two games tells me two things. They are desperate. They really dropped the ball on the appraisal of their team, not just QB. I think Bama really thought they would be able to run down other team's throats. I think they are in trouble. Never seen Nick miss like that.
It's hard to develop players when your staff has turnover pretty much every year

Actually, I post in the Zone, the PF, the Baseball forum, occasionally the Pub, and sometimes the Braves thread in the MLB forum. Also the LV on occasion. And the Movies forum. I get around. That's why I'm VN's most beloved poster. That, and I'm obviously @frank 's favorite.
Forum whore.

Doering criticizing/saying he's disappointed in our WRs rather than Milton. He's a Gator homer but he's spot on, on that front. We have a group that should be playing elite and right now they're just not making plays. They're also dropping passes they've got to hold on to. And granted, part of it has to be that catching a Milton pass feels like catching a cinder block shot out of a cannon but when the goal is the NFL other QBs are going to throw hard too.
Spitting facts. Joe has not been perfect, but his receivers have let him down. If Keyton and Bru want to get drafted, they need to show out the rest of the season.
