I do believe the arguments I've seen have roughly been:

"Yah, rankings are a fairly good guide, but not mutually exclusive from finding talent that's flown under the ranking radar."

It's roughly equivalent to answering the statement "Only green M&Ms are worth a ****" with a response, "Yah. I love green M&Ms, but I'd take some of the other colors too if they end up tasting just as good", and having the original person claim that you hate green M&Ms.

It's ridiculous.

Really not debating the rationale, just saying I love rationalizing a top 15 class has overall talent of 10 versus top 25 is Purdy good.

Had a Bama fan tell me the NIL/Transfer era hasn’t changed a thing for Bama or other elite programs

But it has

Bama plays for a national title in 2022 if a Tennessee team loaded with NIL and transfers doesn’t beat them in October (first win in 17 years)

No way Nebraska flips an elite QB recruit from Georgia pre-NIL era (highest rated recruit in 17+ years)

I think I’m going to like this new era of football

Syracuse will make the playoffs next year.
No UNC, Clemson, or FSU on their schedule……and they are getting serious players.

I’d say that’s a pretty hot take. New head coach, first time being a head coach I believe. They still probably lose at least 1-2 of ncst/miami/gt/vt. Then there’s the acc cg last game before playoffs. Combined with a bottom quartile sos. I highly doubt they make the playoffs.

True. And I honestly don’t know the rules. All I know is I have never been asked for NIL but I have the other areas. And most I know it’s the same too.

Also, the rich don’t want to contribute to a fund that’s non deductible. That’s a big loss.

The rich donate wherever there is perceived value. They have the money to spare. Value comes in many different forms.

Doesn’t matter if deductible or not, though that certainly helps.

Please don’t let Florida get Kiffin next year. Idk what big programs Kiffin fits at. Maybe Miami if it comes open?

Kiffin was made for uf. His portal efforts last and this year will be enough to get him the job and leave ole miss recruiting funds with nothing but pocket lint and pennies. Then we will essentially have spurrier vs fulmer again with lane vs huep.
