What do you think we are serious about? Why pay out so much money for coaches, facilities, recruiting, etc. if we are not serious about winning? I totally get your frustration, but saying we don't care about winning because you don't agree with who we target in the portal seems like jumping the gun.

I just don’t think the VC makes themselves as ubiquitous as they should.

I’m going to run a little experiment today. I spend a lot of time following this program. I listen to Vol radio shows and podcasts basically every day. I’m on this website all the time. I live in East Tennessee and will be driving around the area today.

I’m going to count the number of encounters I have with official VC marketing. If they’re doing what they should, I should see it or hear it at least several times.

I should clarify that this is a projection based on contributions in proportion to the school’s existing base of booster athletic support. It's not an end of year bottom line total. O’Rourke points out Sprye aims to raise 25 million annually... That is a huge number for any school.

My main point is join the collective. Pay for that right to bitch with skin in the game. If money is tight, don't join... bitch for free.

I want championships as much as anyone. I definitely don't agree with all their decisions and they have made some mistakes. But, I really believe DW and CJH have a plan that will bring us one.
