Anything worthwhile from the chat last night?
Sounding like Harrison (TE) Brazzel (WR) and McCoy (CB) are all soon to be in the boat.

What if it was considered a paid endorsement? Is that not advertising expense?
It has to be paid to a qualified charity in order to be deductible. Otherwise, it is only deductible if the person/company receiving the funds claims it as income and then you can deduct it as an expense.

Much like political contributions not being tax deductible.

So I assume only current players...

QB: Brock Purdy (Jared Goff or Josh Allen) Joe Burrow starts if healthy
RB: Christian McCaffrey (is there anyone else?!)
WR: Adam Thielen, Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, & Alec Pierce
TE: Travis Kelce (TJ Hockenson or George Kittle)
OL: Jason Kelce, Ryan Kelly, Zach Martin, Chris Lindstrom, Quentin Nelson, Lane Johnson, and Colton Miller

DL: TJ Watt, Nick Bosa, Joey Mosa, Trey Hendrickson, Maxx Crosby
LB: Matt Milano, Logan Wilson, Alex Singleton, Robert Spillane
CB: Riley Moss (literally the only white CB in the NFL lol)
S: Harrison Smith

Definitely in trouble against the pass on defense, better hope the pass rush is elite!

You've posted this gif in each player thread, and now here. Yet, here we are. I bet sooner or later you'll be right. #Insider
I am not an insider in the least. Just an engaged participant. If you look at the posts I tagged this image on though....you'll be on the path to Moby.

I mean if I were to "hire" a couple of players to endorse, film a commercial for airing on TV, have them promote on social media etc. Is that simply not advertising expense? I'm not talking about a donation to Spyre.

Also for anyone who cares (not many I'm sure)

Rashard Mendenhall was a RB, played a total of 6 seasons in the NFL and went for 900 or more in 3 of them all with the Steelers. Finished his career with 4236 rushing yards, 37 TDs and a 3.9 ypc average

I find his claim that he's "better than YOUR GOAT" to be interesting... here's a few white RBs I'd take ahead of him.

Christian McCaffrey
Franco Harris
John Riggins
Jim Taylor
Larry Csonka

And he technically was a FB, but I'd take him over Mendenhall as well, Mike Alstott

Csonka was a different era, but good grief that guy was a beast.

Franco’s father was black.
