Whether we get the bowl win or not it’s time for the Nico era to begin. There’s a small window of opportunity before us if Nico is who we think he is. 2024 and 2025 is it and we have to be ready to capitalize on that by getting players on board now. Might as well start now and show other recruits/transfers what they would be joining and that they could help us take that final step.
There is no one with a lick of sense who doesn't know what we've got in Nico. Why do you think Nick was so upset when he didn't get Nico? He tried like heck, went to his house the day before ESD. Nico would not see him. Do you think Nick would embarrass himself like that for a maybe prospect?
So if he plays or not it matters not.

Hearing Rumors AP on TOS is hinting that NICO SHOW starts January 1. anyone confirm?

"I don’t think it’s far fetched to believe the time has come for the Nico show" - AP

Edit: Apologies if that's been answered 20 times in the last 4 hours since the original qoute.

Ever think Nico goes out, throws 4 picks (because he REALLY isnt ready), and we get blown out by Iowa?

Talking about embarrassing. Hopefully recruits wouldn't notice.

Lol. Is possible I suppose. At the time of the bowl game almost the entire class will already be locked in though. How he does next year is far more important than how he does on the 1st. He needs reps!

No idea what they will do....just hope that he gets LOTS of reps in that game.

I hope he does, too...I want to see him play; but, I want to win more than ANYTHING else, however that comes.

See, I prefer this hypothetical…

So do I.
See, I also prefer understanding ALL possibilities.

Could be playing possum with Iowa so they don’t know which QB to game plan for. Though it’s maddening to us as fans, I like it the Heupel keeps the other team guessing.
Lol they have no clue what to prepare for if we told them Nico. Kid hasn't played.

I know they might gameplan pressure the rookie. It is a joke.

Most coaches would’ve brought in a transfer to compete, hell Kiffin brought in two last cycle. The fact Heup didn’t tells me all I need to know about Nico.
It’s a double edged sword, either he knows Nico is it (which brings the question of why not play him more this year) or it plays to Heupel being naïve that Nico will be ready//wont get hurt

Might be the smartest cat I have ever seen. Beautiful animal also.

I used to have 2 Abyssinian kitties. They would do bird calls and squirrel calls as well. We'd find them in the window sills (we had wide ones) up against the screen calling away. They also made different vocalizations for things they wanted. They had a begging sound that was very different from they're "I'm mad at you" sound and their "give me that" sound. The most terrifying moment though was when my girl kitty was in an upstairs window. The frame was out and she was calling an owl big enough to swoop her up and take her with it. That cat was small but I swear she was absolutely fearless. Nothing - not even angry hissing cats - ever phased her.
