Is the ACC the worst football conference?
Definitely the worst P5. Maybe worse than that.
Had a friend convince me once (cough, @Mozdukemod) to see Miami play footsie with UNC, at Chapel Hill. After the performance, the Powder Puff fans all filed out single file.

One Hurricane fan, all 5'7" 135 lbs of him. In that Andy Bowser 1997 Starter jacket, gangster lean way, looked at a Carolina fan, unprompted.
'Dont make me put my dic* in your mouth.'

Now, there was two ways that woulda gone. Either one wouldve been funny. Either Bowser's Dad woulda gotten slapped, or, as happened. Dude just laughed AT him.

Also....you watched one USF game and came to this conclusion...your opinion would be much different if you had watched them in the games they really struggled..

I just will NEVER believe that Josh Heupel would give the keys to his beautiful Ferrari to a guy that could only crash it all the time.

The problem ain't the play calling period...and yes you can go look and post examples, and then I will go look and post examples of ineffective calls from last year when we had the f'n #1 offense.

The problem ain't the play caller...it's the play runners not being able to execute at as high a level.
Which is the responsibility of whom?

It aint mine, it aint yours. Its on Halzle and Heup to get these guys prepared. And they didnt execute.

Stupid dumb take on the RB situation.

They were backups for a reason!
Just like Wright was before he wasn’t
The reason they were backups was because they weren't better than Wright. That being the case, one would logically expect there to be some level of drop off now that Wright is gone. Just my stupid, dumb take of course.

Huepel harred a new guy to call plays, some of them good. Some of them not so good. We farred him midway through the season, but then re-harred him because he's a first year guy.

Having watched USF in their bowl game, reminds me of hwhat tempo can do. And we didnt do that.

Listen I think there's plenty of blame to go around, I just dont think its all Joe's fault. Some of its his, for sure. The WR room just wasnt very talented.
Im also going to say this AGAIN...it's not Joe's "fault"...he tried his best, he just cannot read-react quickly, correctly and accurately consistently enough to male this thing go...and yes the drops were bad, and pass blocking was not as good...those guys tried hard too.

Watched bits and pieces of their games vs Alabama, UCONN, and as it just happened to be on when I was watching versus Syracuse. Again, they went tempo. That is what we missed in 2023.

I think we're all saying same thing, McGill.

Bottom line is there's enough blame to go around. My point is everyone is culpable. No one gets a pass. Get it? No one gets a pass? Its ironic, since no one got a pass.

Those is stupid 🦬💩...it will ALWAYS be stupid 🦬💩...I will say it again since you are dumb enough to keep saying that...Josh Heupel did not suddenly, after all these years of top 5 offenses, forget how to run an offense.

If you only have cheap bologna, cheap cheese and cheap condiments to prepare with...all you do is make the best bologna sandwich you possibly can.....and I believe Heupel and his HELPERS did just that.

Making a good offense out of what he had to work with this year was a REMARKABLE job...period.

No one's giving HEUPEL a pass on mistakes. He's made them dating back game one of his tenure. Trademark of a good coach is he doesn't double down. With your thinking, GOLESH was great in 2021 and 2022 with Hooker but not so much with Milton. See the parallel?

He has all world talent. But refuses to use it. Er, leans on it too much.

Add in WR's that were also mediocre. And play calling at times wasnt as good as its been, execution of certainly was abysmal.

Best game we played was versus Vandy, on offense. And the TE's were our best weapons, in the air.
Imma say it again...He does not have the talent that matters most in this offense...the ability to read and react QUICKLY, correctly and accurately...and Joe Milton NEVER will.

Why do you call Milton cheap bologna? That’s not very nice.

They tried to use tempo a lot, but it isn't very effective if you can't convert on 3rd down at a high enough rate. The coaches really slowed the offense down in critical situations, and I don't think it's a big mystery why.

At any rate, he isnt our paper tiger any longer. The NFL will buy futures of Joe Milton stock based on what ifs.

I will NOT play this game of blame...the fact is that Josh Heupel is one of the best, if not THE best offense runners in football period...IF...as you continue to adamantly claim, he has really forgotten how to run an offense...then we are absolutely screwed.

I will continue to claim that they did the best they could with what they had to work with....they wrung a ton of production out of a flawed group.

Yall see the Minnesota game last night? Minn has a 5-7 record. Get this 🐴💩 on how they received an invitation and the tie breaker. Ridiculous and Too many bowl games.

According to CBS Sports, Minnesota was picked for the Quick Lane Bowl because of all NCAA teams that have won five games this season, the Gophers have the best Academic Progress Rate (APR).

It's not a mystery to people with good observational skills..but..😒

Just a reminder folks, always be looking into ways to attach subscriptions to these services by looking at your other services like your phone bill. For instance, I don’t pay for Netflix, Apple TV or HBO Max because my mobile provider gives me Netflix for free because of my plan and Apple TV I get from my in-laws mobile plan and we all share. I forget why I get Max for free but it’s something with the in laws getting it free from another deal like this. So all in all, I’m still saving a good amount of money by just knowing where I can cut some costs and by talking with family about options. If I was just paying for them all outright I wouldn’t be saving money like the graphic says.

Also, just having YTTV and Peacock has given me more live sports than I ever had with basic cable. So I’m a little confused on what that part is about.

Wide receivers were a huge step back from the previous year. If you add in all the pregnancy penalties with all the drops and bad routes, we were constantly putting ourselves behind the eightball.
Nah, word has it that backups are only backups because they aren't starters yet. Unreasonable to expect any kind of drop off. They get promoted and they instantly become as good, if not better, than the starter.
