Wounded Knee Massacre

the U.S. Army’s 7th Cavalry surrounded a band of Ghost Dancers under Big Foot, a Lakota Sioux chief, near Wounded Knee Creek and demanded they surrender their weapons. As that was happening, a fight broke out between an Indian and a U.S. soldier and a shot was fired, although it’s unclear from which side.

A brutal massacre followed, in which an estimated 150 Indians were killed. (Some historians put this number at twice as high.) Nearly half of them were women and children. The U.S. cavalry lost 25 men.

The conflict at Wounded Knee was originally referred to as a battle—the Army troops involved were later rewarded with Medals of Honor—but in reality it was a tragic and avoidable massacre. Surrounded by heavily armed troops, it’s unlikely that Big Foot’s band would have intentionally started a fight. Some historians speculate that the soldiers of the 7th Cavalry were deliberately taking revenge for the regiment’s defeat at Little Bighorn in 1876.

First, that's not bourbon. (Scotch)

Second, you stick to the critters, I'll stick to the alcohols.
Yeah, but it's all whiskey....or whisky depending on who you listen to. Matter of mood as to which I prefer on which day. Won't lie....I've always been a big scotch fan. So many flavors, smells. Not as varied with bourbon, but when it comes down to it, I catch myself reaching for a bourbon more often these days.

I was just giving him shiz for calling it a bourbon.

Not a big Walker fan. Wouldn't make my top 20 and certainly not at that price. Old Rip Van Winkle 25 year is king of the holy grail bourbons....none of which I'll ever get to experience. Less than 1000 are out there. Think it's going for around 50K.
A 25yr PVW probably tastes like chewing on tree bark

I’d slap my brains out.
I had about the same luck with the clackers.

What if you dropped that bottle

Not sure what Iowa does in recruiting, but they apparently do more with less. Maybe we'll need to be better at coaching/development because I don't see us eclipsing either bama or uga in recruiting in my lifetime. I try to imagine what the Iowa defensive coaching staff could do with our talent and dream of seeing it happen here. Yeah, sometimes I do like to visit fantasy land.
In my opinion, their specialty is the same as KY's. Their specialty is defense and consistency of staffing and scheme, but their claim to success over KY is they play in one of the most lopsidedly bad divisions in all of CFB. The coach has been there forever; he plays a less athletic ball style, but talented white boys can still excel. That is his recruiting base. That is not meant to be racist either; go look at the team photo.

The better news for you and to your point is that Ferentz is to defensive success what Heupel is to offense. I like the offensive-focused scheme more in this current football game than the model Ferentz uses. Not only for success on the field but for success in recruiting. Who doesn't want to play in an exciting scheme?
