I watched a video of pork that people had bought from walmart. I rarely eat pork because of that video.

One clip shows a guy cooking pork on the grill, than cutting it and a huge worm comes out, still alive 👀

I would post the video but the guy says some curse words, 😂

You can search "walmart pork ribs had tape worms them (sic) youtube"

Yummy..

He started recording after he found it. It's not the only one though. There a plenty of cideos of people going into walmart finding pork with worms. To be fair, I think there are probably videos finding parasites in different meats.

I saw one interview from an employee. They talked about how old the meat is and how they store it, etc. My take away was just avoid walmart meat at all costs. I'm really picky about where I buy it now, for the most part. . . I at least spend an longer amount of time inspecting what I buy. I like the Food City meat dept. . . it at least gives the impression that the stuff is fresh, 😂
If the only source of evidence is anonymous online videos, I'm remaining skeptical. If there are multiple, verified, reputable sources that say there are more worms in Walmart meat specifically (moreso than other grocery stores, which is extremely unlikely since the same meat companies supply all the major grocery store chains, including food city), then I'm open to being convinced.

I suspect that there's a clash of worldviews here. With a couple of generations that have been indoctrinated into the self-refuting philosophy of postmodernism, there are all too many people who deny objective, external truth and operate on the "my truth" mentality. As such, it's becoming more and more of a social feax pas to intrude on someone else's 'truth'.

So, someone can wrap their comments in the veneer of 'opinion' and try to escape criticism, with the thought that all opinions are equal. (If there is an objective external truth by which to judge them, they're not.)

And close-mindedness in the name of open-mindedness becomes a virtue.

Note how striking the comments are:

"I have to use rational thought enough at work. Don't expect me to do it all the time..."
"Discussion? <Mock your rational process.> You'll never change my mind, stop bothering me..."

That's not open-mindedness. It's closed-mindedness and a rigidity of... thinking? Would that be the right word? Is the celebration of emoting in place of thinking...thinking?

It truly is an odd time to observe the world around us.
I’m afraid this may be right. Admit I am confused. I think it is just a discussion of why some thinks what you said is wrong. Then suddenly it is you can’t change my mind….to I will keep repeating it until you believe it….someone responds…repeat.

The crickets were pretty good. Roasted with salt and lime juice. Tasted like nuts. With arms and legs...

Bowls are super funny now cause they are a ton of inexperience and a mixture of apathy. This is way more interesting than a bunch of try-hards. They should just start focusing the betting on them around errors committed.
