One thing we can all agree in is that it needs to change. Further that the NCAA will absolutely **** this up.

The exceptions should not be used as the rule when it comes to perception...so of course this is a generalization...but it's a generalization with proven merit.

Of course you can find exceptions...you can to any rule...but they are called exceptions for a reason.
