Riley has had a terrible day at LBer today. Guys been on the burnt end of alot of these big plays.

They literally hit the pick play wheel route multiple times for huge gains where all he had to do was not try to run inside the pick with the WR.. but he did.. every time. They targeted him and I don’t blame them. He’s not a starter and I don’t think we will have Baker back in time for next week, maybe not even playoffs. Buffalo going to do the same thing to him with Cook next week and I also doubt X will be back next week which means they are going to move Diggs away from Ramsey all day if we don’t have Ramsey shadow which Fangio doesnt like to do. It’s gonna be tough.

Man, I don't know. The defense is not near as good as they were last year, I do know that. Hurts probably had a career year, last season. I really thought Hurts was more of a career back-up, NFL level QB, when they drafted him, anyway.

They looked like meh potatoes against Louisville playing for a playoff spot. That is the same Louisville that got 6 tuddies chucked on them by backup QB at USC. Is anyone genuinely imagining FSU winning this or any playoff game?

FSU was a dead duck playoff candidate when Travis went down. The committee watched both backups, saw it and got it right. FSU's coaches knew it too because they didn't have a decent backup QB on roster. Their players knew it and that probably contributed to the defection count. Even Tate Rodemaker knew they had no faith in him and that's why he bailed early instead of taking the opportunity to start in the Orange Bowl.

FSU would've given Georgia a better game if nobody had opted out, but they weren't a top four or even a top 10 team with Rodemaker or the freshman, IMO.

Only nonsense IMO is that they are not a top 10 team with QB2. I think they are but the Merc’s folded so it’s moot point. We can only judge then by the score of their bowl game and it wasn’t good.

Transferring and opting out to prepare for the draft are different.

If they moved the portal to after all bowl games, FSU still would’ve had 9 players opt out of the Orange Bowl.
