I despise pure selfishness...I do understand that in some cases like Joe's, the staff may be ok with a player moving on because they think they can win without him and need to get the next guys up some experience.

To fans this is a sport, to athletes this is a business..

Do I think it's selfish yea, but am I going to get upset and get pissed off because these young men make a business decision about their futures hell no..

These players have "advisors " who suggest what's best for them. Whether I like or or not it's the nature of the Beast...

One thing I absolutely despise is calling the kids quitters, if people think this chump change money these kids get paid entitles fans to criticize decisions by college players, then quit paying them..

A blind man could've seen what this NIL would lead too, no loyalty to teams and teammates and it's all about me...

It's all about the name on back if Jersey not the one on the front per say..

Times have changed, we all need to learn to cope with it whether we like it or not...

Assuredly the schools and conferences making B-illions were worried about feelings. it's a two way street now

I know we really liked him last cycle but he never made it to campus.

I wonder if we’d take a swing here. I’d almost prefer him over Evan Stewart maybe just based on years left.

It’s also possible he’s NC State bound. From Raleigh. We obviously play them next year so that would suck.

Did I hear ONL isn't playing? Hoping thats an opt out to nfl in lieu of transfer? truthfully id be very concerned if we were relying on a freshman to play in 24. Ideally we let ONL come back, and fill the dl coffers

You missed the point, sir. The television contracts depends on tens of millions of viewers. "We" aren't who would need to tune in. EVERYONE would need to tune in.

And the same athletes that are transferring betwen schools now for $$$ are the ones that would forego college. The talent would be severely depleted. It would be less talented than the XFL.

The semi-pro league would be less talented than minor league baseball, and you can see how much of a television draw that has proven to be.
