Disappointed in his Sr year...but, this is how I'll always choose to remember him, as well. One of the two biggest catches we've seen around these parts in 20 years (Bru's catch against Bama, being the other).
there have been more: bru on the same drive for the td, JJ alone had 2 in one year - uf go ahead and uga Hail Mary, Gerald jones against uk in ot to go to seccg, Marquez north one hander on game winning drive against uscjr, but I agree with the overall sentiment.

I didn’t read the images, but contracts would make them employees, no? So with that also comes things like health insurance, retirement benefits, etc. So in reality, allowing colleges to pay directly opens up a huge can of worms that I don’t think we as average fans will like. I mean you think tickets are expensive now, just wait.
It will also mean complying with hourly employee regulations, like work weeks, OT pay, etc. etc. etc. And we’re not even touching on if others on scholarship (music, academic, fine arts, etc) must then also be employees if they “perform” under the school’s banner.

Our players are not employees - the can of worms opened up for Universities and Colleges that make them so, is about the size of Neyland Stadium 😳

For RB you either commit to stoning the blitzing LB or you immediately release. It looked like Sampson did neither.
Don’t want to exhaust the hijacked topic much further, but Iowa obviously took a page from Bama with the delayed LB blitz, effectively negating the RB read.

According to the article, this guy can play guard or tackle..." Reed-Adams is a versatile offensive lineman who started nine games at left guard and three games at right tackle last season.....That versatility would be especially valuable to Tennessee who is looking to replace starting left guard Ollie Lane and starting right guard Gerald Mincey from last year’s team. "
It was a joke….. PFF is pathetic at rating players.

Get out of here!!! I live in Newnan!! When you come down this way, let me know, and maybe we can play one of the courses at White Oak or one of the Peachtree City courses in the Club Corp system.
Will do!!

I've played most of the ClubCorp courses there with my nephew who played at Northgate HS.

All of those were awesome, no doubt...especially JJ's Hail Mary; but, none of them were anywhere close to being as big as those two last year. None of those you mentioned meant anything in a bigger scope...the Hail Mary could have, but...

Keaton's propelled us to a go-ahead score, right before the half, at a time when we really needed it...before it, we had not played very well. After that, and after we went on down and scored, it set in motion everything that came after, charted our course for the rest of the season.

And, Bru's...need I say anything? Except...can never forget Keaton's catch right before it.

That's just half the battle. Many of these guys-- like Heard-- have other demands. Heard really wants to play LT and UT needs him at RT. That's the scenario he left at LSU-- and the same scenario UT grew tired of with Mincey. And Heard wants to shop around and see what's out there. So we'll see.
He's got three years and Campbell is done after this year. He's got a shot at playing birth tackle spots, and if good at both that probably increases his value more than pigeon holing himself at one spot.

I'm sure that's part of the conversation we're having...

That was not the situation at LSU. He was their 3rd tackle behind rising juniors Will Campbell and Emery Jones.

I say two for depth because seeing Davis come in was not good
I don’t know if anyone else noticed but after the Citrus Bowl game, Nico went to Davis, hugged him, and talked to him for a bit. That shows leadership, and to show that kind of maturity after his first start, as a freshman…well, that young man is special and I’m very glad he’s one of us!

Oh cool!!! You would prob smoke me, but I enjoy the game. Just got back into playing again about 1.5 years ago and joined Club Corp. Which course do you like best down here?

My folks live near Newnan in Whitesburg and I grew up in Carrollton. I think there's a couple other people on here that live in that area. I played at St. Andrews near Douglasville a lot and Oak Mountain in Carrollton but never any courses in the Newnan area. Always drove past one on the south side of Newnan not far off 85 when visiting family and wanted to play it...looked really nice (not many trees...lol).

I have not heard of these birth tackles. Is this some new fancy Heupel offensive line position?
