Need to get some better recruiters most of the coaching staff hasn’t had to recruit like you do in the sec

we use to chase “recruiters” all the time…. It made the team worse.

We have a potential generational talent at QB and we're going to give him the Dayne and Lane train for protection. It's quite frustrating and will be even more so to watch next season if we don't better develop our younger guys or get experienced depth from the portal; which it would appear we're going to strike out on with our weekend visits.

I can't remember who posted this last week but it deserves a re-post. In the dance at all due only to flagrantly rigged (racketeered) SEC officiating (and some major unearned luck, in addition), the all-time biggest cheater in college football history got out-coached by the heinous relatively amateur cheater. Saban is now all-in on trying to undermine the parity that NIL is achieving, and backstabbing and scapegoating everyone around him. Same as last year!

it starts at the top…. Heup is not as intense of a recruiter as the others you mentioned… It is up to him to make it work.

It does suck. It really underscores all the recruiting misses. Waiting till the last minute to go all in isnt a tactic. Really not whelmed by the staff's recruiting.

Just hope they can find someone between now and practice.

You realize the transfer portal last for awhile right? There are other windows where we can grab a few players, can’t we at least wait till fall practice before the complain or is that too much too ask?

Just got home and my sons wife lost her baby Josie at 31 weeks. We are at a loss for words. His wife did not think she would be able to get pregnant or she was told as she continues a thyroid cancer battle and everything was going really well. A little VN prayer or a thought today for that little girl and the family if a moment.

So sorry brother. Prayers for all.

Trying to make our team overconfident and even more of a target for everyone on our schedule. But I think our guys stay grounded. And the comment about TBA is correct and welcome.

What? It does! Why, I had no idea. What you call complaining I call expressing what appears to be a trend that we struggle to recruit positions of dire need. We desperately need OL depth and development. I truly hope we are able to achieve both.

What!? Who knew in recruiting you can lose out on player that is new one? I had no clue?

I don't see the concern as others on the OL presently. The bowl game didn't Samson rush over 100 ypg against a Top 10 defense? Most of the sacks was Nico holding the ball too long and some could have been prevented but he will learn that with growth and adjusting to college speed.

Campbell is back and so is Mays and Lampley played well in the bowl game and if Spraggins comes back and Davis with all the freshman and Soph's and they are high on Grant too. Surely some of the younger OL will develop as they get older and stronger in S&C program. I do believe we need at least a left guard because not sure the Texas transfer is going to work out and probably need one OT but there is still lots of transfers out there and will be more in the spring.

2025 is the concern IMO.
