i wanted a new Right Tackle/Left Guard before he left….Granted i am not on campus so i don’t know how some of the young guys are progressing. Mincey is a malcontent, average lineman that looked better than he was bc he was being compared to Crawford/Davis.

Our line will probably be good enough bc our system makes is easier on the offensive line…. We do need some upgrades though if we want to beat Georgia.

Would Campbell or Spraggins start on Bama or UGA? That's my point. That means they're not championship caliber players who can get us to Atlanta. They're not bad, but we need better to get to ATL. That doesn't mean better OL guarantee it, but I wasn't posting about everything that's holding us back from a championship, just the OL.

I can't agree on Bama. They probably would because Bama's OL was one of the worse giving up sacks and that was with second half ref help at Arky, Texas A and M and our game. They have a bad center and not great anywhere else. In the past, I would agree but they have issues on the OL which only looked better this year when allowed to hold with impunity. Georgia is good of course and the guys this past class and put a couple of others like it and we will be on the level we need to be. My point is to get to the championship level without luck, we had a few more years than 3 to get there. 22 was just crazy but I have hope we can do that again with Nico but long term in and out 10 wins team like Bama and Georgia will be down the road.

I know this is going to be a shock but not every person in the portal is a guaranteed starter. Not all OL like running wide open with no rest while they're on the field, some physically can't or won't do it. Not every RB can pass block or catch passes, not every WR runs good routes, not every DB is a lock down player from the time they step on the field and not every LB can run sideline to sideline and not every "Free Agent" is a fit team chemistry wise . MOST importantly not MANY Portal players are worth what they think they are. Remember if they have an extra year to play fine but if they are just wanting a change of scenery more times than not it's for an underling reason.

It is somewhat concerning. However, I know this staff has a plan and an going to let it play out. Also, none of us know all the details. Not even our insiders who have reliable information.
