Who would’ve had Ollie Lane working out as a more than serviceable LG for us this year?LT: Campbell, Reddick
LG: Umarov, Kuric
C: Mays, Lang
RG: Spraggins, Ginther
RT: Davis, Johnson
If CGE doesn’t want to land a portal he better develop the crap out of the guys he has. Depth is terrifying.
Washed up OTs from inferior programs? You just yelling at clouds? This is the most miserable I’ve been the entire post-Fulmer era
Forget that we reached #1, we had a Belitnickoff winner, beat one of Saban’s most talented teams, won our two biggest back-to-back bowl games in 20 years by multiple touchdowns each. Forget that we have the most hyped young Tennessee QB since Peyton Manning coming back - and we’ve got him for two years with loaded receiving and running back corps. Forget that we’ve put 10 guys in the NFL the past two seasons, with many more to come. Forget that James Pearce Jr is returning and maybe the most athletically elite UT past rusher since Leonard Little. Forget that we’ve got most of our OL back and speed and athleticism all over the defense.
I think we whiffed on a couple washed up OTs from inferior programs and I’m totally bent out of shape.
Heupel is officially on notice!
Agree. Often, though, and I have been guilty of it, too, one side throws out a comment like Nico gonna die or lol, or something other that adds nothing to the debate. Then, said person gets a presentation persecution complex when the other side piles on.It is fair and it’s ok to discuss. I realize that not all fans operate that way though.
Some want to focus on how far we’ve come in a few years and they’re content with where we are. They’re confident we’ll achieve more and it’s just time to trust the leadership. Let’s focus on the positives and let the leadership worry about the rest.
Some want to take the next step and discuss how to get there. They want to talk about needs and how to fill them. They’re happy about the progress too but see opportunity for more and want to see movement in that direction.
One group shouldn’t frustrate the other so much though. It’s just discussion. Both are valid perspectives and can coexist.

You can summarize the mood without completely misrepresenting the OTs we missed on.Lol. I’m just summarizing the mood I’m getting popping into these transfer portal threads tonight. Some serious negativity in there. Folks need to lighten up! ;-)
21 no classSerious question. Why does he have so little to work with going into year 4 considering they have multiple recruiting classes and the existence of the portal?
Of the three we were after this weekend; I believe two already started for their teams, and the third, Heard, was a true freshman this past year. Recent history has proven the biggest variety is in the current window. It's a 30-day window whereas the Spring window is 15.That is why a lot of the guys that are portaling now are portaling too.
