Vrabel benched Marriota in favor of Tannehill, which catapulted them to an AFC Championship Game appearance. I am not a Titans fan, but I would view him as a solid football coach. Aside from Henry and AJ Brown for a few years, I don't think the organization helped him much. You have to have strong support.

Vrabel, IMO, is a solid decision maker in game and it seems most of the players love him. He can't develop players, choose assistants (on-field or strength and conditioning), get along with those at his level or above him in the organization and wanted full control. I hate to say because I liked him but it was time for him to go. You can't go 6-18 in the last 24 games and expect to keep your job if you are unwilling to be a team player, you sure aren't getting full say and control.

I'm hearing the Titans are considering Mark Stoops to replace Vrabel. Something about his familiarity with their starting QB going forward.

Pretty predictable. Same thing with Sensabaugh. When we led it was a "wasted scholarship." When he picked Mizzou it was a "huge loss."

But only after he got bumped to a 4*...which doubled the angst of the usual suspects. Surprised they don't injure themselves snapping from "he sux, we don't want him, locker room cancer, dad will destroy the team, the coaches won't recruit elite talent" to "what a loss, the world is ending, we'll never win a championship, coaches can't close" in literally *2* days.

Poor dude took a VN break. VN can have adverse side effects for some of us.

Someone help me out. My son said his friend was yelling strap when he knocked passes downs and doing the hands to one hip. Said it was like buckling up.

We tried to look it up....no dice...but my son now knows what a jock strap is! Ha. I thought the guys were simulating putting a sword back in the scabbard after defending.

Some have shifting opinions, others do not, I still don't see Sensabaugh as a big loss. Don't know what to think of McMurray, but if the staff had doubts, that causes me to have doubts. Wonder what changed to make them go from backing off to taking him?

I think that's been discussed. He was smaller than they wanted, but they changed their minds because he desperately wanted to be in Knoxville and was willing to earn the right to get NIL rather than a check up front.
