Depends greatly on what your value is...success for some is measured strictly in dollars, but for others it's performance. Getting fired for failure still hurts even if it's accompanied by a truckload of cash.People at the top of their field don't turn down jobs because the expectations are high, or because they are filling big shoes.
And if they are worried about it, it isn't going to make them lose interest in the job. It's just going to make them hash out buyout terms that offset that risk.
Why would anyone worry about getting prematurely fired as a CFB coach? Getting fired as a CFB coach is one of the best things that can financially happen to someone in the history of man kind.
