He is not in error. It was reported he received an extra year of eligibility. Confirmed by Ryan Callahan. He was approved a waiver for a 7th year because he was unable to play in 21 due to injury.View attachment 580219
I'll wait for the press release. Til then it's message board bunk. This time next year he won't be here...quote me.

There's no way of KNOWING what we lost in one quarter of play. If he had been available and KNEW exactly WHY he wan't getting it done, I'm not seeing how that's better. It was a pedestrian effort by our entire defense yesterday...some very experienced amongst them. See Tank.
He played just as many snaps as everyone else that game… He continued to play for a little bit after he got hurt. Go watch that game and see the difference between when he’s on and when he’s off the field. Clear drop off and against a horrible uva team.

And yes tank is not it. Shouldn’t have been a starter anymore since halfway through last year.

Meh...errybody looked great against Vulva. There was no drop off...I didn't even notice he got hurt. Herring led the team in tackles that game if we're doing STATS.

I'm just not seeing generational unreplaceable loss out of one quarter's work against VIRGINIA. Maybe he would have been great against the Gators or he would've been the subject of multiple threads stating he wasn't SEC level talent. The only sure thing is for VN to canonize and retire your number, all you need is to stop playing. Did you lose any vital body parts from that FIRE? You seem to have retained your thumb for your butt and your middle finger to peck out your victim statement.
No you just refuse to be wrong.

Sure seems like everyone close to the program, the guys at volquest and 247 all have said it's a big loss and they are all highlighting how it sucked to not have a vet like him in there instead of Herring.

How about when Stoerner Fumbles who has his sources, comes on here talking about how he was the captain of the defense and was the guy they were going to rely on to call the plays and get his teammates in the right position.

I guess he and everyone around the program just made that up and it still just didn't matter because butchna says so and he can't ever be wrong?

It was confirmed by multiple people lol. Just because he won’t be here doesn’t make it untrue.
Who's "multiple"? Callahan and his personalities? Why hasn't VQ brought this up? And why APPLY for an extra season before you even played this one?

Sucks losing anybody. There's your concession. He wasn't here long enough to write a country song about it.

It comes down to competence. SEC officials miss way too many calls to remotely convince me or anyone, IMO, that they are the best we can do. I am sure other conferences have bad officials as well, but the NCAA needs to take a strong look at how officials are hired, developed, evaluated and retained. It is bad in almost every single game I watch and I watch a lot.
No, it does not come down to "competence."

Name one instance of "incompetence" (as you call it) that "incompetently" penalized FL wrongly or "incompetently" overlooked an obvious foul against us. The SEC officials are extremely competent at influencing outcomes.

Not doing stats just showing you he played. Go watch the 3rd quarter where UVA drove it down the field when herring was in the game. The ran it every time to his side and got huge gains. I think he’ll be good but he wasn’t ready for last night.

I KNEW he "played". Fast forward to the SECOND HALF when were playing our BACKUPS? That's some hard core science!

Maybe I'll try again later....

Putting this game behind me.

We’re a better team with Mays. That won’t make us a great team. We’re heavy dogs for Georgia and Bama. A&M and KY have the players to exploit us. I’d call those two 50/50. Missouri is playing above their talent and will be a struggle. If we have a letdown next weekend, UTSA can give us trouble. SC is terrible, but Beamer outcoached Heupel last year, and they probably smell blood. We should kill them, but who knows. This team still has a ceiling that is probably three losses, but it’ll be unlikely that we get there. The team hasn’t given up or turned on the coaches, but some of our least prepared players are the biggest mouths in the locker room. I think it’s a great time for some younger players to step up. If we don’t succeed in the portal this year and get three real offensive linemen, we’ll struggle for a long time. I think Martinez spent his last tokens last night. He’ll probably be let go. People attacking Banks are misguided. He’s not the problem. Pilli being injured is a big loss. We’ve been hiding weaknesses since he went down. Banks is a good coach.
Banks needs to be calling defenses at some directional school in North Dakota.
