As I posted long ago and others have as well. If the NCCA and Sankey/B-Ham want to play their corrupt, pathetic games with us as they have for the past 20 years; it is past time to be the black hats. They handled the Cornbread situation right - reduced costs and penalties. They are handling this situation right as well.

We have a TN born and bred business and now, academics, stud as a system President. We obviously have excellent intelligence, fire and leadership skills in our Chancellor. We employ some of the sharpest legal minds in the business in America. We have one of the toughest and most resilient fanbases in all sports with no aversion to using their skillsets in social media and other public squares. We have major support from state government and the laws of the state

Let's do this.

Whoever decided to target us may have made the greatest miscalculation in NCAA history. The very fact that we turned ourselves in and were cited by them as an example of how to do things makes our response now look like it's coming from the high ground. They absolutely thought we'd say 'whatever,' and go on. Apparently that's what Florida is doing but they're a mess right now. Tennessee is no longer a mess.

Nothing will come from it, but there are a lot of programs that are not a fan of seeing Tennessee becoming a factor again. They loved kicking us while we were down.

The negative ammo won’t work anymore because this will be a non issue in a matter of a couple weeks at most.

I’m curious if Florida steps up, extends an olive branch, and joins us in on the fight. If I were a Gator, I’d see Donde’s response and I’d be expecting something similar from the administration.

It’s such an unwinnable situation for them that I’ve become convinced they’re just doing it to let it hang over our heads for a couple of years.

I'm over this crap. The media, the NCAA, the SEC.... why is it like this for TENNESSEE? (Is bama still mad at Fulmer, is it jealousy of our athletic department and NIL, our coaches doing things the right way? I just don't get it.)

Do you remember the manufactured mass hysteria recently when Bama players legally used the same portal that Bama uses to acquire new players, but this time to legally leave Bama after the coaching change? And do you remember the media and talking heads competing with each other to see who could most stir up a fake sense of urgency and national "crisis"? "The sport we love is in its death throes!" And the byword of the outcry was: "Something needs to be done!!!"?

Well, this hit job on Tennessee was that something they were talking about.
