You are right, but conservative judges favor individual rights and less regulation, generally, which is at the heart of this dispute. It does say something when the Supremes rule 9-0 on anything.I don't think political leanings matter. There was unanimous alignment in the Supreme Court against the NCAA in the Alston case. Point being...the NCAA's rules on NIL run counter to the law from just about every angle you look at it. On top if that, Spyre wrote contracts and conducted business in a way that leaves nothing for the NCAA. They're literally trying to stick their head in a guillotine.
Individual rights and less regulation would be in favor of Tenn and VA case…this lawsuit is about student athletes right to collect NILYou are right, but conservative judges favor individual rights and less regulation, generally, which is at the heart of this dispute. Donde goes to Mars to get more candy bars. All of this orchestrated, coordinated, and oooh man it feels nice.
Yeah, agreed. I'm not excited necessarily about his play of late... But jeez... The kid bleeds orange. He'll be great for this university long after his playing days are done and he'll be remembered fondly.Fans need to leave him tf alone. He is a great dude, has played great in a ton of games, a true VFL. For them to attack him on Twitter is deplorable, childish, and just plain stupid.
It reminded me of the sunshine law thing with Knox County Commission a number of years ago when they basically tried to put who they wanted to replace them when the state ruled that they were, in fact, term limited.Anybody have more info on this voice vote re presumption of guilt by only 23 member institutions as part of a special proceeding? That’s shady as hell. Is there info on who the 23 institutions were?
