Yeah it’s just a dumb argument for the NCAA to classify Spyre which is privately owned business as “boosters” to the University. So, part of the NCAA allegations involves Sprye flying Iamaleava to Knoxville? I'm sure that hasn't happened with any other school, right? And yes, Tennessee didn't fly him in.
This may be a big ploy of self destruction, using Tennessee’s passion and fortitude to upend the AA, concerted by Saban and select AA officials be the create a new football league with Saban crowned as the commissioner. @LA Vol tell me I’m wrong.Y’all need to sit back and realize the significance of what we are seeing. This is history in the making and the University of Tennessee is leading the charge. The days of being drug through the mud on and off the field are over.
@frank, please take this down. @Jackcrevol proves that not all communists are against athletes.Evergreen, but worth repeating:
Brian Bosworth did nothing wrong.

The NCAA got blindsided on this one. Politicians do not move this quickly unless they have their ducks in a row. NCAA's move was anticipated and out flanked. The NCAA is arrogant and accustomed to acting with impunity. They went after UT hard and seemed to feel UT did not get what was coming to it from the first investigation. Branding UT a repeat offender opened the door for stiffer penalties. They could punish UT, throw their weight around on NIL and make an example of a big, powerful program to show other programs they are in control-- three birds, one stone. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And sooner or later, someone isn't going to take it any more.
This is their last frontal assault offensive, but like the generals of the First World War, they don't realize that their outdated tactics are doomed by new technology. What in the actual f'n hell is the NCAA thinking? The Supreme Court is going to DESTROY them..whatever few schools are behind this will find themselves complete and utter outcasts with no home and no money..
This is the height of pure stupid hubris...they are all idiots.
